Vi bad om at få vist værelserne, og da rygersalen ikke lugtede, valgte vi værelset her. Personalet fortalte os dog ikke, at værelset er lige over koncertsalen - så lige nu er der koncert, hvor der bliver hamret løs på et trommesæt. Vi har ringet ned, og koncerten slutter kl. 22. Breakfast ikke incl. men var betalt for. Breakfast var ok, men forfærdelig oplevelse med maden fra menukortet til aftensmaden. Kødet var uspiseligt. Ikke andet end sener. "The hotel has an amazing swimming pool that we enjoyed daily. There is a coffee shop that has Illy coffee, pastries and a nice sitting area for visiting with friends. The rooms are well-equipped, with lights beside each bed, an electric kettle and refrigerator, and roomy enough for a small table and armchair, a desk/counter with chair, and closet with a small safe. Service was always prompt and when the local power went out the hotel generator kept not just the lights but also the AC on....

"This would be a perfect score if the internet was working. I needed it to plan the next leg of my trip and had to go to the mall for the internet.
They paid for my taxi to my next destination though (bus station). That was quite nice.

They had an old radio, record player etc. wonderful if you want to see an old Kotagede type house from the inside. There's a bookshop attached to the house and it has a good selection of books, including Indonesian books translates into English, a section on Javanese culture, and political books like Gramsci etc.
