This was one of the worst hotel we ever stayed in , a motel Might have been better , front desk first night was good , 2nd night when we went to complain , guy ignored us, kept answering the phone instead of asking us anything , guests came in and refused to be checked in after they saw how dirty the lobby is , room was dark and damp and super tight , random furniture pieces , looks a like a 1st grader designed it , every night we were depressed to go back to our hotel , tv was super small size , it was positioned so badly , it was positioned at the side of the bed , and no sofa , how can you watch tv ? You can hear people in the hallway as they walk by , place over all is old and depressing, colors are gothic and lively , more like a dungeon , this was a trash , we overpayed , expected something great and was very dissatisfied

So easy to ride the light rail to great breweries, food and canal. Coffee shop had great coffee and food for an easy relaxed breakfast. Beautiful architecture all around, loved it!!!

Beautiful old building, everything looked very nice. Noticed some damage on the bathroom door and the toilet seat, but other than that it was an excellent stay.

Struttura decadente. Appena si entra si è invasi da profumo eccessivamente forte per camuffare male odore di cucina del bar accanto all’hotel. L’albergo da l’idea di una struttura fantasma…anche il diner nell’hotel non è utilizzabile in attesa che qualcuno rilevi la gestione. Stanza abbastanza pulita ma letto e cuscini scomodi. L’hotel non dispone di parcheggio quindi occorre parcheggiare nei dintorni. Nel complesso discreto ma senza pretese

The hotel was nice but you could tell it was an old building. My room was as pictured online. The only thing that concerned me was that I didn't feel like my door lock was safe enough.

Came to Buffalo for a concert and stayed here. Perfect location. Close to bars and restaurants Love the lobby. Staff were super nice. Great price. Stay here again

The rooms were interesting and unique. The beds were very soft and lumpy. The hallways were over scented with air freshener. We had to wait for a staff member to assist us at check in and staff were not professionally dressed or seemed more like maintenance staff. The common areas were dusty and dirty. It seemed that they are slowly restoring the hotel.

We were greeted enthusiastically by Zach. He explained where everything was around the area, Made us feel very Welcome and comfortable. Our rooms were delightful, so clean and spacious loved the layout of both rooms. We will definitely be back! At checkout, Zach was working again made sure we enjoyed our stay and we're happy with everything. It is so nice to see a young professional male enjoying his job in the hospitality industry. Keep up the wonderful work Zack!

I really wish they had told me before the night before that the restaurant/bar was shut down. That was a large part of why I chose this hotel. That was very disappointing

Check in and check out was a very easy process. Staff was very kind and friendly. The only downfall that I felt was a lot of creeks and noises that travel through the old hallways.

Came across the border for a Detroit/Buffalo game. Conveniently place 7 minutes across the border and a 15 minute walk to the rink. Staff was friendly and helpful, the only downside was when we checked into our room and got our keys they didn’t initially work. Had to reactivate our keys only to use them and walk into a room that was still occupied. Not ideal whatsoever or comforting. They did upgrade up immediately to the presidential suite but we felt a little jarred to leave our stuff. Everything turned out fine in the end and things were kept safe.

The location was walkable to Keybank Center. This hotel had so much history and so unique than other modern hotels. The room was massive with barn door. The rooms were very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and was very informed with the history of the hotel

Staff were amazing. Rooms needed maintenance. When we got there, the sheets were stained, shower floor was missing tiles, black mould on the grout, handles of bathroom door kept falling off, carpet had stains. Just generally lower standards than we'd expected.

Amazing staff that were very responsive and accommodating! Love the unique design and vintage look. The 1st floor coffee shop had great food and drinks and was a necessity to get us going the next morning. Highly recommend!

Great hotel at an affordable price!
Great hotel! The bar is now closed so that was sad but the staff was amazing and there were many places close in proximity so it was overall a great stay. Super comfy beds too!

The outside of the property looks nice. The rooms look like they just slapped some paint on the walls. A vintage style property that has not been properly maintained and taken care of. Property has lots of potential with the right management and ownership.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when checking in and checking out. The room was clean and comfortable. We came for the night to watch a Sabres game and the hotel is within walking distance.

Nice grand old hotel!!
Came in for the hockey game. Staff were friendly, room was very nice! Bed was extremely comfortable!! Would definitely recommend and definitely would return!
