The staff (valet, doorman, check-in, bar/restaurant waiters) were all super accommodating. Restaurant was delicious. "The hotel overall was okay, now there’s a few key issues with it, the AC in the room is controlled and it doesn’t go under 66 degrees which for Houston is not cold, you’ll be very hot at night, the TV volume will not go above 30 which means you can barely hear it, the bathroom door has 0 privacy, all sounds and smells will go out to the room, the pool has no supervision whatsoever and kids will make your time completely insufferable, if you are looking to enjoy the pool you need to go very early...

"It was very nice room with everything I needed and the staff was kind. The air conditioning was super cold! It was wonderful. I didn’t eat the breakfast because I didn’t want to get up early, but they did have options to get breakfast which is nice. I only stayed a couple days but I’d definitely stay again :)"

"It's very dated. Long past It's prime. I was lucky enough to get a room on the 18th floor facing La Branch st. and had a very nice view. If your room faces the other direction you face the back walls of a very tall new building (see google maps street view). Only 3 elevators so there can be a short wait for one. Good to keep in mind if you're waiting for an uber. The breakfast was mediocre at best. "
