The Ranch at River's Bend- Cabin 3-Ritz on the River

The two level “Ritz on the River” offers three bedrooms, two with queen sized beds and one with a king, each with private, luxurious bathrooms. The size of this larger bungalow makes it perfect for vacationing with the family, or a relaxing getaway for three couples. The artful design found in all of the River’s Bend properties is culminated in this unit. Pictures will give you an idea, but a stay here will have you raving about the five star amenities and richly appointed rooms!
The master bathroom features the incredible Pearl Apogee Spa Shower, with full body spray and pulsating Grohe shower heads designed with your pampering in mind! Fused glass sinks and granite countertops dazzle the eye as you unwind from a long day of fishing, hiking, or canoeing the river.
Cooking will be a pleasure in this modern kitchen; with premium appliances and flatware, all you’ll need to bring is food! Share a bite in the kitchen or enjoy a special dinner at the dining room table-with the open floor plan you won’t miss a moment.
Televisions with satellite access may be found in the bedrooms and the main living area, along with a wood burning fireplace. Share a bowl of popcorn while you see that movie you haven’t had time for, or stretch out and catch the game by the light of the wood burning fireplace.
View the river from the sprawling wooden decks, canopied by trees, and fire up the large gas grill for a special meal. Enjoy your canoe and fire pit, both included with your rental and accessible via your private entrance. When you’re ready to venture outside of the resort, Broken Bow Lake, restaurants, and Beavers Bend State Park are only minutes away!

A few highlights: - Property manager (not Mary Beth) was rude and unprofessional. Too much to tell, but in short she ridiculed us for using Vrbo and was very hostile in trying to work out an issue that came down to misunderstandings or miscommunication, and the property manager not knowing who we as staying at which cabin. We never raised our voices with her or personally attacked her, but I cannot say the same for her. - Many maintenance issues with the cabin. Things needed to be repaired, and those that were repaired were not done well. - I’m not sure what was going on with the water, but when we did have some pressure it was not hot. Sometimes no water came out at all. - We could not report any issues as the property manager as said she did not want any phone calls. - The location is remote and by a river. That was nice.

Wonderful week in a beautiful cabin!

We loved every minute of our stay and didn’t want to leave! The cabin was amazing! The canoes were so much fun on the River and having the property dogs to play with made it feel like home. The property manager was great to communicate!

Details

Overall this stay was excellent. The location is a quiet, private area surrounded by pretty countryside. The issues we had were two-fold. 1) Quite a few little things in the house needed routine upkeep (dozens of lightbulbs needed replacement, a primary table lamp in the living area is a hazard that has been taped and bent to try and salvage but it is a hazard that should be destroyed, bedside reading lamp in loft bedroom is detached from wall and needs secured, etc.. All of these are small things but when added together it is inefficient and troublesome. It would not cost anything to fix other than the one lamp replaced but make the stay more usable. 2) We did not have any communication from property about check-in , directions and details that that I did not create. After several contacts I received the info day before check-in, not sure what the problem was but property wanted to blame vrbo. This worked out and we would stay again but neither of these should have happened.

The perfect getaway

"We enjoyed staying at the “ Ritz on the River.” The cabin was beautiful, and the kitchen was very well stocked with all equipment needed too cook, and the property was very well maintained by the day staff. (I loved the pups!) The directions and instructions were very helpful. We will be back again. Thank you!

Thanks for asking...on arrival to property I had not been given the code to the entrance gate..

The area was enjoyable & I would suggest the manager checks out satellite TV & make sure the tvs work, upgrade dishwasher when its rusting, supply new dish sponges between rentals, exterminate and clean after they visit.. bugs in the bed linen was disgusting. We did feel secure lighting was good. I suggest the manager should do a one on one check on the rooms/beds between rentals..

Beautiful remote location & cabins

This beautiful property is off the beaten path but a unique experience with nature. We escaped the noise and busyness and relaxed in this well-appointed cabin. All day campfires with all the wood provided, sturdy canoes and a fun paddleboat we enjoyed by parents, children and grandchildren. Once we arrived we barely left the property for 5 days and were all sad to leave.

Rivers Bend Resort, cabin on the Ritz #3

We had a wonderful weekend with friends. The property is absolutely beautiful and is indeed, right on the river. The unit was very comfortable and clean. We spent as much time as we could outdoors, using the fire pit and the awesome brand new Weber grill. We ate our meals on the spacious riverside deck, and the covered dining area by the fire pit. It was awesome to have all the wood provided. A few things that would make this stay even better are: Measuring cups and spoons Bigger Coffee mugs (Only small cups were there) Kitchen dish rags (there were none) A new Kitchen scratcher/sponge with each new guest The dishwasher bottom rack was not operational. No wheels? Luggage holders in the bedrooms Several lightbulbs needed replacing The extension arm on the lamp, on the right side of the bed in the loft, is broken. Hope this Feedback helps. We’d absolutely love to stay here another time. We had a wonderful time!

Gorgeous natural setting, other important details about the property.

The location is beautiful, lots of big trees, lovely green field, the river is beautiful. Every view from the cabin out to nature is wonderful. We enjoyed canoeing and playing in the river and we saw lots of different birds, deer, rabbits, and tons of squirrels. Just to highlight some things: the cabin does not have a washer or dryer, and there is no wifi. (The listing is honest about these things, but just wanted to highlight this.) There was also no vacuum which made cleanup difficult, but we did our best. One bathroom has only a tub and no shower, and the sinks were a little difficult for our younger kids to manage. The cabin and deck could use some sprucing up. It was spacious and well laid out, but there were broken tiles, severely scuffed hardwoods, a rotting door, missing boards on the deck rail, etc. There is very little privacy in the cabin, most interior doors are like french type doors, with multiple windows, and the upstairs bathroom is this way too. Also the next door cabin is very close, which was fine for us, my parents stayed there, but if there are strangers there.... well I guess they wouldn't be strangers for long! There are NO signs indicating where the property is, or on the property itself, so use Google maps, and look closely at the photos, look for the red and blue reflectors, and you'll get there eventually. You do drive about 4 miles on gravel roads with some curves and hills to get there, so just be aware of that.

We had an awesome little family vacation. The cabin was in a very private location. The owner was very nice and great at communicating the directions to us. I highly recommend a stay at Ritz on the River. It's such a beautiful property. We had a pleasant experience!
