Shaui Chukka, meaning “Raccoon House” in Choctaw, is a cozy three-bedroom cabin named for the curious wildlife often seen nearby. Nestled in a 40-acre private retreat, it’s one of just eight cabins that together create a serene escape for families, couples, or small groups. Guests also enjoy access to shared amenities across the property, including four stocked catch-and-release fishing ponds, scenic hiking and biking trails, a nine-hole frisbee golf course, and a horseshoe pit, along with a dedicated event space for larger gatherings.

Inside, the cabin’s warm wood accents and open living area invite you to relax by the wood-burning fireplace or cook up your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The master suite upstairs includes a queen bed and sleeper sofa, while two main-floor bedrooms each feature a comfortable queen bed. An additional sleeper sofa in the living room provides flexibility for larger groups. Outdoors, you’ll love spending time on the large wraparound deck with forest views, whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning, grilling dinner, or stargazing at night. A private hot tub, firepit, and picnic area make it easy to unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting.

If you’re traveling with a larger group, the Community Center is a great option for coming together. It’s outfitted with a full kitchen, washers and dryers, a 48" HD TV with DirecTV, and plenty of tables and chairs to seat up to 40 guests. Perfect for reunions, retreats, or celebrations, it’s a quiet place to gather, share meals, and make memories. Please note it’s a day-use space only and not available for overnight stays.

Just a short drive away, Broken Bow and Hochatown add to the experience with hiking and kayaking at Beavers Bend State Park, boating and fishing on Broken Bow Lake, plus local dining, shops, and attractions. Whether you’re planning a quiet getaway or a group celebration, Shaui Chukka offers a balance of rustic charm, modern convenience, and outdoor adventure.

The Community Center is perfect for reunions, retreats, and group celebrations, with seating for up to 40 guests, a full kitchen, laundry, and a large TV. Available for day use from 10 AM–10 PM at $350 per day—please mention when booking if you’d like to reserve it for your stay.

★ DOGS ALLOWED ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy with a maximum of 2 dogs. A pet fee of $150 is required.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the cabin! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.

★ EV CHARGER INFO ★
The best option for EV charging is at the Choctaw Casino, which offers multiple fast charging stations. Please note this property does NOT have an EV Charger.

★ NOISE ORDINANCE ★
We kindly ask you to treat our cabin as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. Please respect the community noise ordinance from 10 PM to 10 AM. Always be respectful of our community and be good neighbors.

★ A NOTE ON OUR LOCAL NEIGHBORS ★
We are thrilled to share our slice of nature with you! Because this home is nestled in the heart of the woods, please keep in mind that you are visiting a thriving ecosystem.
*** Wildlife: It is common to see deer, turkeys, and squirrels. Occasionally, larger wildlife like raccoons may pass through. Please keep all food indoors and dispose of trash in the secured bins provided.
*** The "Bug" Factor: We maintain a professional pest control schedule; however, the occasional spider, beetle, ladybug, wasp, or "woodland friend" may find their way inside, especially during rain or seasonal changes.
*** Pro Tip: Keeping doors and screens closed will help keep the great outdoors exactly where it belongs—outdoors!

We encourage you to have a great time, but respect the cabin and neighboring cabins. Sounds travel very far in the remote areas of the forest.
