We had really been looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations. Prior to arrival, we arranged (and were assured) that champagne, flutes, and a bucket would be set out for a special occasion. When we arrived, these items were not there, which was disappointing. There were also cleanliness and maintenance concerns. The upstairs shower had visible mold in the grout. While management did send someone to scrub it the next day, the grout itself appears to need replacement. There was also mold on the first-floor shower curtain, which they did replace the following day. The hot tub was another issue. It had a very strong, unpleasant odor when we arrived. To their credit, they came out the next day to drain and clean it. However, when we returned to the house afterward, the temperature was only 81, so we were unable to use it during our stay. While the team was responsive in addressing problems after they were reported, it was frustrating to have multiple issues that impacted our overall experience. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the relaxing and seamless stay we had hoped for.
