Whether you are visiting for a romantic weekend away, a family adventure into the forest or a peaceful escape from city life, the flat offers a calm, easy place to call home during your stay.

A home to relax and unwind

Platform 1 has been styled to create a cosy, characterful retreat that feels lived in and loved. Warm, earthy tones flow through the living and dining areas, while a bright bay window draws in plenty of natural light, making the main space a lovely spot to slow down after a day exploring the forest.

Guests gather around the dining table for slow breakfasts before heading out, sink into the patchwork sofa with a film on the smart TV in the evening, or simply enjoy the quiet of village life. The flat has the feel of a personal home rather than a generic rental, and that makes it a particularly easy place to settle into from the moment you arrive.


The layout

The flat is laid out over one easy-to-navigate level and has been designed to make the most of its space.

Living and dining area
The heart of the home is the open living and dining area. A characterful bay window floods the room with light, with the dining table positioned to make the most of the view. There is comfortable seating around the patchwork sofa, a smart TV for evenings in, and plenty of room to spread out as a family or small group.

Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. It includes an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, freezer, washing machine, wine glasses, dishes and silverware, alongside cooking basics such as oil, salt and pepper to get you started.

Bedroom
The single bedroom comfortably sleeps four. It features one double bed and one set of bunk beds, making it a flexible setup that works particularly well for a couple travelling with children or for a small family group. Bed linen is provided ready for your arrival.

Bathroom
The family bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower combination, basin and WC. Please remember to bring your own towels, shampoo and body wash or soap, as these are not provided at the property.

Outside
Guests have the use of one allocated, free, on-site parking space (space number 1), making arrival and unloading simple and stress-free.


Location

Platform 1 is set in the village of Brockenhurst in Hampshire, right in the heart of the beautiful New Forest National Park. The flat is conveniently located close to Brockenhurst railway station, making it an easy choice for guests arriving by train as well as those driving down for the weekend.

Brockenhurst is one of the most beloved villages in the New Forest, with a charming high street, characterful pubs, independent shops and direct access to open heath, ancient woodland and the famous wild ponies that roam freely throughout the area. Whether you prefer to walk, cycle or drive, the surrounding countryside is right on your doorstep and ready to explore.

Inside the flat, you will find a guidebook filled with our personal local recommendations, including favourite places to eat, walk and visit during your stay.


House rules

• No smoking anywhere on the property
• No parties or events
• No pets
• Maximum of 4 guests
• Please keep noise to a respectful level from 10pm onwards
• Check-in is from 16:00
• Check-out is by 10:00
• On departure, please return the key to the lock box


Extra charges

• Cleaning fee: £50 per stay
• Early check-in: £50 (subject to availability)
• Late check-out: £50 (subject to availability)


Booking policy

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.
Guests are not required to pay a damage deposit in advance. However, we reserve the right to charge up to two hundred pounds per stay to the card on file in the event of any damage.


Cancellation policy

Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival.
Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival.
No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
