Tangalooma Resort Hilltop Studio Room

  • Relax on the deck enjoying views over the ocean. (View photos for the exact view) The studio features - lounge, queen bed, bar fridge and microwave.
    Sleeps 2 in a queen bed , but you may squeeze children on the spare floor mattresses. 😊


    You can walk to the Resort using the steps opposite the house (6 min walk at medium pace) or drive down in your 4WD or use the rental golf buggy available at the resort. Whichever way you go it only takes a few minutes to the beach.
    Even though the room has a microwave, kettle and bar fridge, it is set up like a hotel room where you have most of your meals at the multiple resort restaurants and coffee shops.

    You have free usage of all resort facilities like pools, tennis, squash and other activities . (Note- Dolphin feeding incurs a fee)

    TRANSFER
    I recommend booking a $15 taxi transfer so you don’t initially have to carry bags up to your room. It will meet you at jetty.(quote address as 4 Cowry Close)

The stay was wonderful. The property was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and the hosts were attentive and pleasant to communicate with. Communication was quick, and they were helpful from the very beginning. Parking was convenient and right next to the house. The room was spacious — even larger than I expected. A great experience, and I would happily return again.

As the studio is part of the resort we had all the benefits of accessing tours, pools and eating choices. Beautiful views of the sunset. There is noise from adjacent rooms and advise ear plugs. Lovely touch of wine and nibbles from the host

This property was perfect for our needs. It was clean & comfortable and it was great to have access to the resort facilities. The complimentary nibblies and bottle of wine were a nice touch. Thank you.

Great place to experience all of what Tangalooma has to offer. Quiet and peaceful being on the hilltop away from the resort crowds. Great place for what we needed. A wonderful stay.

Excellet stay up on the hill great views

Excellent stay amazing views but stairs were a killer down to eat and activities back three times a day and but all up it was great we will be returning again 😀

Room with a View

Clean, spacious room with a spectacular view back towards the mainland. The host Anthony was wonderful to deal with, especially as this was our first trip to Moreton island. A fabulous location to relax and recharge. Short walk to cafe/restaurant at Tangalooma Resort. Great couples getaway!

I highly recommend this place. Exactly as advertised. Well presented, great communication with the host. Spacious, clean and honestly the best sunset view you will see. The wine and goodies were a lovely surprise. 10/10

We had an incredible stay thanks to Tony's exceptional hospitality! He went above and beyond, treating us to a complimentary taxi ride from the Jetty terminal, making our check-in a breeze. Throughout our stay, Tony ensured our comfort and made us feel right at home. The studio's location is perfection - nestled in a prime spot with all amenities just a stone's throw away. The breathtaking views were the icing on the cake! We highly recommend Tony's accommodation to anyone seeking a seamless and enjoyable experience. Away from the crowds

My parents thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this studio. The location was perfect for them, offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds.Communication with Anthony was exceptional. He was incredibly responsive and even checked in to ensure my parents arrived safely.While the view is slightly obstructed by some unexpected construction, it didn't significantly impact their enjoyment. It's clear this was an unforeseen situation that Anthony couldn't have predicted.Overall, we highly recommend this studio for a relaxing getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cowry Close. Amazing view and great way to spend a quiet Christmas

A hotel style cabin part of a larger residence. Fantastic view from the front deck. Get a great work out on the steps down to the beach/resort. We utilised the resort and outdoor activity hire, boat hire, fishing gear, snorkeled around wrecks and parasailed. Took snacks with us and ate in restaurants at resort. Fire and Stone Chinese and Vietnamese is a great restaurant. Other restaurants ok. Tony the host was extremely accomodating and helped with an early checkin. We had a great trip and hope to be back. Thanks Tony !!
