The house is located in the northern part of Brisbane and is within a short distance drive (4.5kms) to the majority of restaurants, fresh markets, supermarkets at Westfield North Lakes and the vasty Redcliffe beach which is only 15kms away.

For coffee lovers Blue Infusion Cafe North Lakes offers the best coffee in north lakes and a quiet spot to wind and read a newspaper or catch up on those emails.

Redcliffe. A little strip of patrolled sand, Suttons Beach is one of the best swimming beaches on the peninsula. Its gentle waves are ideal for children and non-confident swimmers and is a quieter stretch of sand with a more relaxed feel. Although much of its grassy foreshore is treeless, its northern end is fringed by a shady strip of park with a playground. The well-enclosed bay is surrounded by forested hills and is one of the most beautiful places in Brisbane. Redcliffe beach is a beautiful long beach with clear waters during high season, featuring plenty of restaurants and shopping options. With its quieter pace, Redcliffe beach has become a favoured spot for longer-term visitors staying in guesthouses, villas and apartment rentals around the village. Recently there has been an increase in popularity however, Brisbane is a big is city, with many things to see and do. To make the most of your trip, we always recommend guests hire their own transport to see all Brisbane has to offer.

North lakes has a good public transportation systems with state buses that can handle the transportation needs for visitors and their is a train station 10mins from the house to give you access to the Redcliffe line which connects to all towns in Brisbane.
