The Space:

Dating back to the 1800s and originally built as accommodation for local sailors, this unique one-bedroom retreat occupies an enviable position directly on the pier, just 25 metres from the beachfront.



The views are undoubtedly the star of the show. Enjoy a spectacular dual-aspect outlook, with the harbour and sea on one side and sweeping views across the beach and coastline on the other. You can even admire the iconic golden cliffs of Golden Cap, made famous as a filming location for Broadchurch.



Inside, the apartment has been newly refurbished to a high standard, combining its fascinating history with stylish modern comforts. The bright open-plan living space features a well-equipped kitchen overlooking the harbour, a dining area and a cosy sofa positioned to make the most of the views. This works as an additional double sofa bed, sleeping up to 4 guests. While a picture-frame smart TV provides entertainment for relaxed evenings in.



Next door, the spacious king bedroom offers quality built-in wardrobes and a desk that doubles as a dressing table. The standout feature is the beautiful freestanding bath, perfectly positioned beside the window so you can soak while taking in the idyllic coastal outlook. A separate contemporary bathroom features a luxurious walk-in shower.



Outside, guests can also make use of a communal garden, while free parking is available in the communal car park (first come first serve).

The Neighborhood:

This apartment in West Bay puts you right at the heart of Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast, with beautiful beaches, dramatic cliffs and excellent food all close by.



The main West Bay Beach is perfect for days by the sea, while the harbour is a lovely place to wander, watch the fishing boats and enjoy fresh seafood or an ice cream. Sauna goers will love the sauna on the pier for winter and summer stays. The best part is you are quite literally 30 seconds walk!



The South West Coast Path passes straight through West Bay, providing some unforgettable walking opportunities. Head east towards the iconic golden cliffs of East Cliff and Burton Bradstock, or west towards Eype and Golden Cap, the highest point on England’s south coast. Both directions reward walkers with magnificent coastal views.



Nearby Bridport is a lively market town filled with independent shops, cafés, galleries and vintage stores. Golfers can head to Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club, where the clifftop course enjoys wonderful views across the coastline.



There are plenty of excellent places to eat without travelling far. The Station Kitchen offers a memorable dining experience in a converted railway carriage, while Rise is a great choice for relaxed food and drinks overlooking the harbour. The Bridport Arms is another favourite for drinks, meals and soaking up the seaside atmosphere.



For days out, explore the pretty village and beach at Burton Bradstock, visit the fossil-rich coastline around Charmouth, or continue to Lyme Regis for its famous Cobb, independent shops and restaurants.



Whether you spend your stay walking the coast path, swimming, playing golf, browsing Bridport’s markets or simply watching the sunset over the harbour, West Bay is a fantastic base for discovering West Dorset.



Getting Around:

Due to the remote nature of Dorset, we would recommend bringing a car to make the most of your stay. Parking is available in the shared private car park. This is available on a first come first serve basis, and we cannot guarantee availability. If you are unable to find a space, free parking is available on the surrounding streets as well as in several paid car parks.



Other Things to Note:

The property is on the third floor and accessed via stairs. Once inside, it is all on one level.
