Head to the nearby Symondsbury Estate (3 miles), where scenic walking trails, lovely countryside and local food and drink make it a favourite destination for all ages. The seaside town of Lyme Regis is 10 miles from home, famous for its fossil-rich beaches and historic harbour. Alternatively, visit Weymouth and Portland via Abbotsbury and the spectacular coastal road (18 miles), where beaches, water sports and coastal scenery await.
