In its former life, this space was a ‘gentlemen’s club’ featuring a private viewing space for silent movies and boxing matches hosted downstairs. It is now a glamorous fully updated living space, retaining all the glory and charm of the olden days, with original 1880s iron chandeliers throughout, wooden floors, 16-foot brick walls, and impressive views from all of the 13 windows overlooking Main Street and surrounding mountains. Brevard Brick Loft is your launching pad to numerous parks, forests, waterfalls, biking, and hiking trails. Once you enter the space, you can’t help but feel the history in the walls as you take in the vintage wood floors, massive chandeliers, exposed floor-to-ceiling brick walls, and huge open floor plan. The fully updated kitchen includes a bar with brass railing. There is also a grand piano to add to the splendor. Brevard is a four seasons town. Year-round, there are community festivals, beer tastings, music performances, and plentiful outdoor activities to be enjoyed on nearby trails with entry points just a few yards away. Brevard is a foodie mecca – you won’t run out of places to dine, from budget bites to fine eating establishments. You can also explore Asheville, renowned as a vibrant and welcoming bohemian artist colony. Asheville is just a 20-minute drive and home to the closest major airport. No doubt, you will make memories to last a lifetime in this oh-so-historic lodging. OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: There are 2 dedicated parking spaces directly behind the building. There is no elevator. Guests should be comfortable walking upstairs to the 3rd floor using the wide historic staircase. The building contains professional offices on the second floor, which you will pass on your way up the stairs. We greatly appreciate your care in being quiet and respectful to people using these spaces. This lovely loft is in a downtown location. As such, there may be typical noises associated with any downtown, such as people and traffic passing by.
