A warm welcome to the heart of the mountain town of Sankt Andreasberg in the Upper Harz!
If you’re looking to spend a wonderful vacation in the Harz Mountains with family, friends, and your furry friend, then this beautiful new vacation rental is just right for you!
Our new 70 m² vacation rental was renovated in 2023 and lovingly decorated. Our apartment is on the first floor. It features a lovely living room with a large sleeper sofa, a dining area connected to the kitchen, and two bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed. There is also a bathroom with a shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a kettle. There is an ample supply of dishes and kitchenware. All bedrooms and living areas feature a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available, as are parking spaces (parking bays) in front of the house.
You’re also welcome to bring your four-legged friend. A food bowl and a dog area are provided!
Various restaurants (serving traditional German and international cuisine), a bakery, and a café are located nearby, as is a supermarket (diagonally across the street). Everything is within easy walking distance. A lovely playground in the spa park and a mini-golf course are also great fun for our younger guests.
LOCATION
The health resort of St. Andreasberg is nestled in the Harz National Park and is the highest-altitude spa and winter sports resort among the Upper Harz mountain towns. Here you’ll find ideal conditions for hiking, biking, fishing, or skiing—pure relaxation! With 220 km of hiking trails, St. Andreasberg is a hiker’s paradise in the summer.
After a short walk from the vacation rental, you’ll reach the summer toboggan run. In the winter, 7 T-bar lifts, 2 double chairlifts, 40 km of groomed cross-country trails, illuminated toboggan runs, 1 biathlon competition trail, and ski schools ensure plenty of variety.
Sankt Andreasberg is one of the few towns in the Harz Mountains that has managed to preserve much of its original character, with its idyllic streets and colorful wooden houses. On clear nights, a canopy of stars awaits you, and at the Sankt Andreasberg Observatory, you can discover even more "heavenly" wonders.
It’s recommended to travel by car, as you can take great day trips from Sankt Andreasberg to Braunlage (12 km), Bad Lauterberg (12 km), Clausthal-Zellerfeld (21 km), and Bad Harzburg (25 km). Goslar, Wernigerode, and Quedlinburg are about 40 minutes away. The A395 is easily accessible by car in 35 minutes, the A7 in 40, and the A38 in 50.
We look forward to welcoming you, your family, and your friends as our guests!
