    - Your safety matters. This property features 4 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is on the porch facing the driveway, camera 2 is under the house facing the carports, camera 3 is in the lanai facing the pool, and camera 4 is at the front door facing the entryway. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into any interior spaces. They continuously record video while guests are in the residence. The cameras are not monitored while guests are present, and are only reviewed in the case of an incident or missing items
    - This single-story home is located on the 2nd level and requires exterior stairs to enter. A wheelchair is available upon request
    - The pool heat is not available for guests. Please do not tamper with the pool equipment. Guests will be charged $750 for pool heat if it is turned on during the stay

A nice little getaway for a couple of days - great change of pace.While we didn’t bring children, I could see this an ideal place to bring kids and/or a large family to have plenty of space. Our dog (passed after we booked it) would have loved the ability to roam around in a gated area.Owner was very attentive. A tree fell on the wood bridge to the river right before we arrived and she had it fixed within the hour.

A birthday to remember!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at the Bucks River Retreat. We had a group of 8 adults and 2 kids staying there and there was plenty of room for every one. The house is clean and cozy with a fun cabin vibe. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room to park, party, cook out, swim and of course enjoy the Suwannee river. The dock is newly redone and fun place to hang out. I can’t wait to go back and stay at the Bucks again. It had every thing you need and so much more.

Dreamy River Weekend!!

This house is an absolute dream! You truly can’t beat the river views and the peaceful, natural landscape just across the water—it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. On top of that, the pool and hot tub were amazing bonuses and made the stay feel even more special!!The cabin is comfortable and works perfectly for multiple families or groups to stay together. It had everything we needed, and the cozy atmosphere really made it feel like a true home away from home.We also loveee that it’s just a short drive to several beautiful springs, which made exploring the area even more fun. There’s even an adorable strawberry field/farm stand down the road, which was such a sweet touch!You do not want to pass up the chance to stay at this cozy, serene riverfront retreat. I can’t wait to come back and make even more amazing memories here!

Amazing stay at river house!!

I cannot recommend this stay more strongly. I am a diver and I booked this place to have somewhere to stay during a training at Troy springs. It is the PERFECT location for access to all the best springs in the area. The house itself is incredibly cozy, spacious and would be fantastic for families or groups of friends alike. The property is close to everything you need in Branford, but super private and feels like you are in a forest retreat. We went down to the dock every morning with coffee to listen to the birds and it was incredibly peaceful. Hot tub and bonfire at night to wind down. This place is the BEST!! And the communication with the host was seamless. Highly highly recommend.

Our favorite rental of all time!

We absolutely adored this place. There are so many thoughtful and well organized areas that were perfect for smaller groups of people to enjoy together or separately. We had a group of 3 teens and another group of 3 smaller boys that came for the day. Some people went to the river while others stayed back at the pool. The outdoor bathroom near the pool area was VERY convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were all very comfortable. We loved the TV in the pool area. The outdoor kitchen and dining area was wonderful and great for cooking for our group of 10. I didn't realize there is an elevator! I so want to go back and bring my parents who are 84 and 72 years old. Highly recommend this rental to anyone of all ages. There really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Great Family Time

This is a great place to take your children and grandchildren. They can run free over the 1.5 acre property that is totally fenced in. Your pets are welcome, too. The home is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, but the real attraction is the outdoors. I walked the property with my 4 year granddaughter and the dogs, enjoying the many nuances of the property. We walked from the country road to the river. The property is on the beautiful Suwannee River and has a floating dock and a sandy little beach. The dogs enjoyed taking a dip in the river. It is like being in a small nature preserve. There are many amenities on the property including a very nice outdoor bathroom, a big swimming pool with a large hot tub, a river viewing deck, a fish cleaning station, a deer feeder, and a large covered patio (under the house) with several grills. This is a great place for kids to play on a rainy day. A great golf course is nearby in Lake City and there are several quaint restaurants and a boat ramp and park in Branford (less than a mile away). If you want privacy and fun, this is a great place to enjoy a campfire, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Close to Gainesville and Tallahassee.
