The Space:

This delightful 1-bedroom rental is perfectly situated across from the beach, offering you the ultimate seaside escape. The living area is tastefully decorated, creating a cozy space to unwind and plan your beach excursions. The living room contains a sectional sleeper sofa with coordinating accent chair, kitchen table with extra seating and a Smart TV. The bedroom is a serene retreat with a comfortable king-sized bed and beautiful glass tiled shower in serene coastal colors. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. This unit also contains a private screened lanai with a sectional sofa, bistro table and curtains.



While the 2024 hurricane season was devastating, it also provided the opportunity for a floor to ceiling renovation of this vacation rental. This unit is how fully restored and better than ever, featuring all-new interior finishes, updated systems, modern amenities, and thoughtfully curated design details throughout.



All units are accessed via our lush, red brick tropical courtyard with seating areas for outdoor relaxing /dining and gas grills. Washer and dryer are available on site for no additional charge. Each unit is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella and has access to our shared beach carts and fishing equipment. Property is equipped with an outdoor shower.

Mother daughters getaway

What a cute little cottage apartment. Very cozy, clean and convenient location. We were fortunate to have great beach weather just Florida hot but the ocean was clear refreshing. We were within walking distance of Bridgestreet shops. The oyster house was amazing and ate outside on the water. Also ate at the Blue Marlin Restaurant although pricey it was worth it. Loved Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. Had a great vibe not too overcrowded. This was a great little reset vaca with my girls.

Shocking Experiance

Nice property, Nice manager. We had an issue with an electrical short that was feeding electricity back into the plumbing. Getting into the shower and getting shocked could have been a much more serious situation. Chris did get an electrician out to investigate promptly. But we were not comfortable and thought it could of been handled better.

Awesome place.....

This place was a gem! Perfect for me and my boyfriend. Literally one minute away from the beach. Had all the accomodations as listed. Very quiet and beautiful place. Chris was amazing! We had a small issue and she was quick to respond and address the problem. Thanks for all you do Chris. We'll definitely be back.

Great little place

The location is great for the beach and bay. We have stayed on this complex many times however this is the first time since covid and there is a marked difference. Although we love the location and the property generally we have been used to being able to do laundry whenever we wanted however with the turnover of people the cleaners were constantly using all 4 machines which made it difficult. It would be useful if these facilities were for guests only as there are 9 units sharing 2 washers and 2 dryers. We love Anna Maria and will be coming back and may consider this unit again. Fingers crossed the new management keep up the standard the previous one had as that is why we rented here year after year.

Perfect oasis for two people

The cottage is perfect for two people. It was clean and stocked with daily necessities. There is an attached lanai with nice garden views that was great for outdoor dining. The beach is located just steps away and the cottage is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also within driving distance were siesta key and upper Ami beaches. Mark was easily accessible for any questions we had. Would recommend this oasis in the middle of Bradenton Beach

First time in Bradenton Beach

We really liked this area! The beach was just across the street and very beautiful! We walked the short distance to Bridge Street bars dinning and shops! Our rental was smaller then we like but very nice. The outdoor screened in area was a huge plus. The bed was more firm then we like. Lots of great kitchen ware! Walkable to everything!

HIDDEN GEM!

The condo is in an excellent location. It's nestled among other condos with an exceptional shared courtyard with grills and lots of areas to sit & relax. Each property has a beach tote loaded with chairs, an umbrella & beach toys. Mark is a great communicator and very accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our private screened lanai that overlooked the courtyard. We are already planning our next trip!

Wonderful quiet oasis

Easy check in. Great communication with the owner. Safe neighborhood. Even though Gulf Drive is so close and so busy, you never even know it's there because how the units are tucked back on 8th street and secluded by structure and with the beautiful trees in the garden. Perfect location for being able to walk or bike to restaurants, beaches, and shops. Unit was perfect for the 2 of us. Has a great screened in porch to sit out and enjoy the evening air and morning breakfast and coffee. Mark does a wonderful job to make sure his guests are taken care of, feel safe, and comfortable. Thank you for helping us make fantastic memories on Anna Maria Island!

Best of the Best on Bradenton Beach!

This vacation rental was perfect in every way. The apartment was clean and tidy, from top to bottom. The cabinets were filled with essentials, and there was everything we needed there to feel like home. Mark and Lily were wonderful, friendly hosts and gave us tips on where to go and what to do to have fun and make our stay memorable. Did I mention that the beach is steps away? It's so close, you can practically hear the waves! Thank you for a simply joyful mini vacation! We'll be returning soon and will definitely be frequent guests!

Excellent!

The rental was excellent. We had a fantastic stay. The stairs were well-lit and the unit was really accessible. The bedding, décor, and furniture was lovely and really had a nice charming beachy vibe. Most importantly, though, this place was *clean*. Actually, my husband and I spent a while looking for an rental that was marketed as being particularly clean, and we noticed that this place was UV sterilized. We’re kind of neat-freak germaphobes in regular times, but now during Covid, we tend to be even more unapologetically obsessive about it. This place looked and felt clean. The location was beautiful, and the property itself was incredibly charming. If we find ourselves back on this island in the future, we’ll absolutely be coming back.

Very disapointing

Upon arrival you have to go through an outside common area that has a miss match of outdoor furniture and the lighting was inconsistent. The stairs to the second floor are steep, this is not a place for someone with any kind of mobility issue. The light at the entry door at the top of the stairs was burned out. We used the flashlights on our phones to put the key in the door knob. Upon entering the apartment I realized it was very small (much smaller then appears in the photos) and worse very dirty. Although the surfaces may have been wiped down the years of crud build-up was everywhere. The pillow cases had stains on them, The food containers has mold in them. The dishes needed to be washed before using them. The place is in need of paint and a deep cleaning. The ceiling in the bathroom has stains on it, a lot of "stains" on the walls and general ill repair. If I could have found another place I would have but there wasn't anything available and I was outside of my cancelations timeframe. The place is describes as "WE HAVE THE CLEANEST VACATION RENTAL ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND BAR NONE!" This is absolutely untrue. Our friends rented a place a few streets down which was the same price, but it was so much cleaner. Even the bottles of hand sanitizer at the door were filthy. The light switches had so much filth on them I wiped them down and it wouldn't come off. The floors look like they are just surface cleaned. Every corner had build up of filth. The bed is very uncomfortable and I got the feeling the sheets, towels, kitchen items were all bought at various yard sales. Nothing matched. Let's talk about the "full size bathroom", the shower was so small (no tub) if you drop the soap you can just about bend over to pick it up. When you open the shower door, it hits the toilet. The chair that didn't match in the corner is stained, it's gross. I have no idea how this rental is rated at 5 stars for cleanliness. I have rented many vacation rentals and this one should not even be on here until it is cleaned up. Again, very disappointing and we do not recommend it and will not be going back to this property.

Loved it!!

Place was great! Beach was soooo close! We walked in 2 min, sitting on the beach! We would definitely stay there again, but will request downstairs due to trouble climbing stairs. Loved Anna Maria, found our new vaca spot!!!

Great location!

This condo was exactly as pictured! It's in a perfect location. Super close to Bridge Street, and literally steps to the beach or bay. The condo is small, but super clean and perfect for a couple to enjoy. Also, communication with the owner was excellent. I highly recommend this property!

Great place for our short stay!!

"Serendipity" at Island Getaway was a fantastic place to stay for our short beach trip! The location is PERFECT with beach access right across the street, the free island trolley stops at the street corner, and easy walking distance to Bridge Street, it could not have been more convenient! The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, helping us with our questions and answering messages quickly! The apartment and screened in porch were perfect for us to relax in each morning and evening when we were not at the beach! Loved being so close to the outdoor shower and the beach equipment box placement right at the front door! AWESOME place! Can't wait to come back when we have longer to stay!

Awesome Location

Property owner Mark was very nice and helpful. The gardens on the property perfect. Great place to Grill your dinner. Location to the beach and sound was perfect. Mark has beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas to use. The kitchen was good. The bed was comfy.
