    Discover the ultimate Northern Michigan retreat in this beautifully appointed 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home located in the exclusive Edelweiss community. With easy access to the ski hills, and upscale amenities, this home is perfect for families, groups, or friends looking to relax and recharge year-round. Follow the short path to the ski hills to spend the day on the slopes at Boyne Mountain.

    The main level features an open-concept kitchen and living area designed for gathering, whether you're sharing meals or relaxing after a day outdoors. A dining table for five sits just off the kitchen with additional seating around the Island, while the cozy living room offers a big-screen TV and a warm gas fireplace—perfect for unwinding.

    Step outside onto one of two back porches and take in the scenic views. The spacious king primary suite is also located on this level, complete with an ensuite bathroom and a large walk-in shower. A convenient half-bath adds extra ease for guests enjoying the main level amenities.

    Downstairs, a second living area provides additional space to spread out and relax. This level includes three bedrooms—two with king beds and a family-friendly bunk room featuring a twin-over-king setup. Two full bathrooms and a laundry area with a washer and dryer make longer stays comfortable and convenient for everyone.

    Enjoy the outdoors year-round with a brand-new hot tub set against a peaceful hillside—an ideal spot to unwind after a day of adventure. Evenings can be spent gathered around the fire pit under the stars.

    The garage is fully equipped for all-season fun, featuring a ski rack, boot dryers, and a Level 2 EV charger for added convenience.

    This home is pet-friendly (a non-refundable fee applies and may be charged separately for third-party bookings), and for winter travel, 4WD or AWD is recommended.

Friends Trip

We had a wonderful stay here, the home was well appointed for 3 couples and 2 toddlers with plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to Boyne. Our hosts were very responsive if we had questions and even went above and beyond to clear snow at the home while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

Rainy Boyne Mountain Stay

Our trip coincided with warmer weather and rain. This is the perfect house for a group or family to hang out and enjoy one another. If the conditions would have been better for skiing, this is the perfect house to base a trip out of. The house offers good amenities and a very functional kitchen.

Beautiful home and property with all of the amenities you would expect or could ask for. Outstanding location on top of the mountain in a gated neighborhood. Very quiet and private, but with easy access to all of the resort amenities and local attractions. Extremely responsive property manager. Overall, we were very satisfied with this rental. The home is huge, spacious, and modern. We loved the Boyne Mountain community! So much to do and beautiful scenery. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a perfect space for our family gathering! We were disappointed we didn't receive the address until 20 minutes before check-in (we were 4 couples coming from different areas and it seemed unreasonable to hold out on this info so we could plan our routes). The pet fee was excessive (250 nonrefundable) for a mini non-shedding poodle, when you still have to pay for any damage caused by a pet. We also asked the host about the type of coffee filters that would be needed and the number of hair dryers in the house. We were sent the general descriptions that didn't answer either of these 2 questions. Finally, there were a few maintenance issues which were minor, but IMO would have been caught were the home inspected between renters.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We traveled to Boyne Falls for our kids spring break, with our friends, so we could ski. The house is super close to the slopes, which made it very convenient. We weren’t able to utilize the ski in/ski out option due to all the snow, but everything still worked out fine (we just jumped in our rental and drove down). The house had a nice garage where we could store our skiing equipment, a beautiful kitchen and living room which was open so we could all be with one another, a hot tub which the kids and adults equally loved (especially after a day of skiing), and two master bedrooms, which worked out perfect for us, and our friends. We each have a boy and a girl, so the boys loved sharing their own room, as well as the girls. Lastly, the house was beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable (slept like a rock!), and we appreciated the gorgeous 8 ft solid wood doors . It seemed the decor, furniture and appliances were well thought out.Amazing place to stay!

Great house with good amenities! The beds are super comfortable and kitchen is well-appointed with high-end appliances and upscale pots, pans and utensils. We did not use the hot tub nor did we ski as we were in town for a family wedding. We did use the grill, fireplaces and kitchen. The coffee maker is not good - took 45 minutes to brew 8 cups of coffee, so that should be replaced. Would also have been nice to have some additional blankets available beyond what was on the beds. All in all, it is a beautiful property and worked well for our multi-generational family weekend together.

Spring Break Getaway

Grandmas treat for grandkids for a spring break getaway to the area and Avalanche Bay waterpark. I found out, six weeks ahead of our visit, after making reservations at the VRBO managed by Northern Michigan Escapes that Avalanche Bay was closed for maintenance and our water park plans (only reason we were going). Otherwise there’s not much for kids to do during this season in this area. I realize there’s a window by which we could cancel but

Great property, excellent management

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time here. The proximity to Boyne (both the mountain and the town) is wonderful and I can’t say enough about the management team. The house was spotless and well appointed. All of the appliances and furnishings are new and fresh. When I needed a few things, they got them over to me right away! The only note I’d make, while advertised as ski in/ski out, there is a short walk to the path leading to the chairlift and the particular lift closest to the house (Alpine) doesn’t run all the time. The walk was too long for my very young kids to do in ski boots and carry all of our equipment, but would be easy for an adult or older children. Overall, I’d recommend this rental to anyone looking for a weekend away!
