Gîte for 8 People in Ariège

In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees, at an altitude of 800 m, this family house can accommodate up to 8 people. Without any overlooking neighbors, it offers an exceptional view of the meadows and the peaks of Couserans.



Fully renovated and insulated in 2023, the house is almost energy self-sufficient thanks to photovoltaic panels and heating provided by a wood-burning stove combined with solar panels. However, it remains connected to the electricity grid if needed.



On the ground floor, you will find a large living area with lounge, equipped kitchen, and wood-burning boiler stove, a bathroom with toilet, and a storage room. The first floor, accessible by a wide staircase, includes three large, bright bedrooms, each with a double bed. The second floor, under the eaves, has a bathroom with toilet and a large room with a single bed and a single sofa bed.



The south-facing garden is fully fenced.



The house is located 5 minutes from Massat (all shops), 30 minutes from Saint-Girons, 1 hour from Foix, and 1.5 hours from Toulouse. It is in a hamlet of three houses, adjoining that of a retired farmer.



In summer, the neighborhood configuration does not allow for nighttime or noisy parties. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. Bed linen and towels are not provided, even for an extra charge.
