Our stay at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is perfect with amazing views over the waterfront.
What really made our stay special was the staff. Every single member of the team we met was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They consistently went above and beyond to make us feel valued and ensure we had a wonderful experience. Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference.
The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options, and the pool area was a great place to relax after exploring the city.
As we were staying for an extended period, we received a 25% discount on all food and beverages (excluding alcohol), which we really appreciated. The only suggestion we have is to make the discount process a little smoother. Every time we ordered something, the waiter had to call the reception to verify that the discount applied. A simple card or another way of identifying eligible guests would make the experience much more efficient for both guests and staff.
We have stayed at many hotels over the years, and the service at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu ranks among the very best. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu.
