I enjoyed a 4 night stay in mid September, 2025. Although I was travelling solo, a had a really nice suite with both a double bed and a single bed in the other room. The kitchenette was suitable for simple cooking. I was lucky to have brought a sharp knife with me, as the kitchenette didn’t have that. I was also lucky to have brought a plug for the sink and a dish cloth (one simple kitchen towel was provided).
The area appears a bit rough in the evening, however, in daytime hours, lots of locals and visitors are in the area, commuting to the train station and/or school/work.
There is was a laundry room right on my floor, which was convenient. A small cost that can be activated with a recite card.
Be careful with making sure to lock your suite door behind you when you leave. I realized on my first day that it doesn’t automatically lock. I didn’t have any issues with anyone going into my suite, but I had to remember to lock the door with the key each time.
Staff were helpful at the front desk. I didn’t opt for cleaning or breakfast (additional prices), however, staff were happy to replenish toilet paper and dish soap upon my request.
