Le Hugue Up comprises a bright living room with a seating area and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, two quiet bedrooms, a bathroom and an unobstructed view where the stars shine over Place Tourny!

Located on the 3rd floor, accessible via a staircase, the property is laid out as follows:

Living area:
- A lovely, light-filled living room with a cosy seating area, a sofa and a coffee table, featuring high ceilings and a decorative fireplace.
- A fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room: fridge, dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker…
- A dining area with a central, convivial high table seating four people, ideal for breakfasts and meals.

Sleeping area:
- Two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160x200), both very quiet and pleasant, and featuring a desk area.
- A shower room with a walk-in shower, vanity unit and heated towel rail.
- A separate toilet with a washbasin.

For your convenience, there is also a washing machine, a tumble dryer, an iron and an ironing board.

High-quality bed linen, towels and tea towels, as well as a few coffee capsules, tea bags, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil, are provided, and your bed will be made upon arrival. For maximum comfort!

The Hugue Up is ideally situated in Bordeaux’s upmarket district, right next to the famous Allées de Tourny, a stone’s throw from the Opera House, Rue Sainte-Catherine (Europe’s longest pedestrianised street!!) and Place Gambetta.
Close to all the shops, restaurants, convenience stores, bars, boutiques and art galleries…

A bit of history:
The Allées de Tourny were laid out between 1743 and 1757 by Intendant Tourny, following the route of the ancient Lébade, which had served the Médoc region since antiquity.
This thoroughfare links Place de la Comédie – home to the Grand Théâtre and the Grand Hôtel – to Place Tourny, continuing along Rue Fondaudège towards the Médoc. Together with the Cours Georges Clémenceau and the Cours de l’Intendance, it forms one of the boundaries of the ‘Golden Triangle’.
65 metres wide and 265 metres long, its even-numbered side is lined with buildings featuring Louis XV-style façades, designed by Tourny to be ‘graceful and uniform in style’. Most of these were raised following the demolition of Château Trompette on the site of the present-day Place des Quinconces, as they no longer obstructed the line of fire for the cannons. The buildings on the odd-numbered side were constructed in the 19th century. The carousel is on display in the square all year round.
