"Retreat in Māngere was wonderful - the house is private, well equipped, beautifully decorated, warm and in a great location. Check in was smooth and flexible (we loved that it was just a self check in). We do prefer softer beds as a family but that is just our personal preference and I am pregnant so harder to sleep on firm beds. Overall we were very satisfied and would happily book this stay again, cheers. "

"We really enjoyed staying at this place. It was near the beach and a park so strolling around the area was great. The kitchen was well equipped, lots of room for the 8 of us. There were going to be 12 of us but one family backed out when the saw there was only 1 bathroom. There were actually 2, but one was in the master bedroom suite. The pool was so dirty and not even working, The carpet was burnt and there was rubbish on the sofas. There was moldy chicken in the oven which was stinking."
