"A fine and warmly family operated old building tastefully updated to meet the needs of travelers visiting the area. And just an easy block and a half walk from the Plaza Grande; what more could you ask for? looking hard to find something to fault, the only thing I can think of is that the showerhead was a little difficult to reach in order to direct the flow of water. "We have traveled around the world, and this may have been the BEST inn we've ever booked. It is not luxurious or all-inclusive, but it is truly beautiful and well-kept. The room was comfortable with plenty of space for two people and our luggage. The best part of staying at Ecuatreasures is getting to know Hernan and Blanca. They are wonderful hosts. Hernan arranged airport transport for us, greeted upon check-in, and confirmed our comfort. The traditional Ecuadorian breakfast were FANTASTIC!...

"This is an incredibly charming hotel. Each room is creatively and uniquely decorated. The staff treated us like family, calling us by our first names each time they saw us. Breakfast is wonderful, as is the customer service. There was not a single thing that wasn't first rate.
