Warm welcome by the owner & resident dog (Penny). The room was clean, spacious & all kitchen equipment was available to use. My dog enjoyed playing with Penny running around together, and she made some visits to my room.

"If Heyfield has an oasis this is it! What a wonderful property they have at Motel 3858. It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre.
We bought a bottle of wine from the bottlo, had a luxurious outdoor bath in our courtyard, then grabbed a takeaway Pizza to enjoy while watching a Netflix movie on the smart TV (using your own Netflix account). A really nice night in as...

"Loved it. Motel units behind the main hotel. Shops close by. A safe place to park my car +boat. Room was huge. Good TV, bathroom, etc. Will use more regularly as a stoppover on travels to Melbourne."

"A very warm welcome on arrival, no fuss. Our room had been upgraded at no extra cost, it was beautiful. Spacious and comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The car park was easy and practical, however is a very bland and hot area. Some shade sails or trees would break it up. Otherwise, highly recommended accommodation at a reasonable price."

"Fabulous as always. Interesting historical property with lots of personality. We've stayed at Bon Accord more times than we can count over the decades whilst visiting family and friends, highly recommend a visit at least once.

"Much nicer than the pictures! You don't notice all the lovely little details in the pictures. Quiet and well located. Love the keypads for locking and unlocking each room and they work really well unlike some other locations. Love that they properly lock from inside, giving a safer experience. Would definitely stay again next time I'm down that way!"
