"The staff is amazing"

"Our stay at The Monarch San Antonio during the Day of the Dead parade weekend was disappointing, especially for the price. Check-in was painfully slow, with only one employee working despite the busy weekend. Dining was concerning because there was no allergen menu. With a serious tree nut allergy, simply being told food contains no nuts isn’t reassuring. Proper allergy precautions matter. At the bar, we waited 45 minutes while being repeatedly overlooked as guests arriving after us were...

"Kevin the host was amazing. He greeted us and gave us the history of the building and surroundings. It was an easy walk to EVERYTHING! Best time ever. "

"Cockroach in our bathroom upon arrival Didn’t sleep much after that 😢 New room kind of offered but they says they didn’t really have any other roomie rooms. Talked to GM next morning and he said the construction has brought them in. No reduction in price which should have been offered in my opinion. Other than that I thought the place was cool. Breakfast was good too. Lots of variety."

"The rooms are old and need upgrading. The shower is in the bath, low pressure and variable temperature. The window and balcony door is not soundproof. This is a budget hotel which is overpriced because it claims to have a river view. It’s only a partial river view because you have to walk on to the balcony and turn your head (downwards) to see the river. There’s no great benefit to the hotel being on the river walk."

"We love staying her here for our UTSA games! The best beds & breakfast is always really good! The best place to stay if you're going to an event at the Alamodome."

"Fin værdi for pengene. Tæt på Riwerwalk, The Alamo, supermarked. Stort udvalg af morgenmad. Stort værelse med gode senge."

"It was a nice hotel but definitely not a luxury hotel. Some of the staff was great (front desk, serving staff at restaurant) some not very helpful or friendly. No personal touches and even room service was lacking. The room itself was lovely and my group was very happy about the rooms. The food at the restaurant was so-so. It’s a good place to stay for a business trip or if you don’t plan to spend much time at the hotel. The gym was decent and the pool looked lovely, but we did not use the pool."
