"This is a truely outstanding lodge. Even without animal watching the game drives are already fantastic due to the stunning landscape of the reserve. Nevertheless we had also great animal spotting.
We stayed in the Camdeboo Manor and enjoyed our room and the facilities like garden and pool.

"We had booked a one night stay with them but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to check in a day earlier, we phoned Chris the general manager who explained that he is not on the booking side but will get hold of the relevant person to assist with our last minute accomodation, thanks to Ferdi we arrived at the establishment as per his direction late at night and warmly welcomed by the lady who made us and made sure we are at home. Friendly atmosphere, comfortable accomodation and elegance. "

"Our family/work trip to PE had us stopping overnight in Graaff-Reinet. Aan Die Oewer Guest House was a great, spacious stay for our family of three. The unit was clean, had more than enough space and was an awesome stop over on a long trip. We'll definitely be returning!

"I fell in love with this funky guest house by the end of my 4-day stay. The owner has 6 cats who live in the courtyards and they will come visit with you throughout the day— this was literally the best part! The courtyards have fun statues/art all around and various braai spaces and a small pool. I will definitely be back!"

"Alta, Tracy and Godwin were very welcoming and very attentive.
The rooms are all external to the superb main Lodge.
I highly recommend this Lodge in it's own small but game filled reserver, separate from the main Addo Elephant Sanctuary which is some 55 minutes drive away.
Our villa\cabin\room was on its own (as all are) bur secluded in the bush. Our car could be parked very close but there were well lit gravel paths to the main Lodge.
It was not obviously apparent from booking with Exepedia...

"Eine Location mit sehr viel Charme, tollem Ranger Clifford, freundlichsten Personal, auch wenn die Eintichtungen etwas „in die Jahre“ gekommen sind. Für die Anfahrt über die letzten 14 km unbefestigte Straße sind sicher 30 min Autofahrt einzuplanen. Diese Straße muss man auch zurück, wenn der Nationalpark besucht wird."
