Uanset om du er et par på udkig efter en get en måde ...... en gruppe af par, en familie, planlægger en familiesammenføring, på øen til et bryllup eller leder efter et område til en gruppe tilbagetog, The Homestead at Mansion Strand er stedet for dig.

Huset ejendom består af 3 hytter, så du kan bevare privatlivets fred, mens du er sammen. Alle bygninger har aircondition.

Ejendommen sover i alt 14 personer. Hovedhuset sover 6 (1 konge, 2 dronning og 1 enkeltseng) og har 2 komplette badeværelser; tilbagetogshytte 6 sovepladser (1 konge, 4 enkeltsenge) og har 1 komplet badeværelse; og studiet sover 2 (1 queensize-seng) og har en håndvask og et udendørs bruser. Der er 2 fuldt udstyrede køkkener, en vaskemaskine / tørretumbler, internet, satellit-tv, udemøbler, gasgriller, 2 gårdhave, hektar med slået gård til underholdning, leger familie spil, og placeringen er bar ingen!

Det, der gør denne strandejendom vidunderlig, er, at det kun er en gåtur på 1/4 km til den sandede og smukke Mansion Beach. Det er ikke nødvendigt at pakke sammen hele dagen, familie og venner kan gå frem og tilbage til stranden for at sikre, at alle har en afslappet og behagelig ferie.

Forbindelsen sidder på en privat 3 plus acres af stenvægge, slået gård og modne frugttræer. Stranden, Andy's Way, Sachem Pond, The North Light House og byens centrum ligger tæt på.

Vi imødekommes glæde til familiesammenkomster og intime festligheder mod et ekstra gebyr og accepterer kæledyr gratis. Uden for sæson 3 nætter minimum ophold har en fleksibel check-in / out dag, i sæson 7 nætter minimum ophold er fredag check ind og ud. Let at checke ind i huset, en låsekasse med nøglerne er placeret på ejendommen, og koden vil blive givet ved modtagelse af den endelige betaling.

Denne familie har været i vores familie siden 1760, og vi har haft familier tilbage i generationer for at bo på Homestead. Opgraderinger er foretaget af hver familieejer; dog har den samme store tradition fortsat med at give vores gæster en smuk og fredelig beliggenhed til familieferier. The condition of this property did not meet our expectations. It was not well cleaned upon arrival. The property manager was responsive and had the cleaners come out again. Pros: large outdoor space, firepit, covered outdoor dining area, location near mansion beach Cons: condition of the interior of the main house and guest cottage was not good. (We did not use the bunk house). A lot of bugs, cobwebs, rooms with missing or broken blinds, several windows with no mosquito screens, malfunctioning lights and mice in guest cottage. Extremely low ceilings in guest cottage living room. Uncomfortable for our family member who is over 6 ft tall.

Overall great time at an expansive property that is located walking distance to Mansion Beach, Andy's Way, Clayhead Trails, and the North Lighthouse. At the time we stayed here we had access to three buildings. Main house (historic Daniel Mott homestead) with a full kitchen, two full baths, outdoor shower, three bedrooms, and a pull out couch. The cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, bath, and the bunk house with two bunkbeds, a sink, and an outdoor shower. More then enough room for the 10 people we had and it could easily accommodate more. Owners were very responsive to questions during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner every night. Granted it wasn't complete sets of expensive pots and pans but what was there got the job done and did it well. It was an overall good renting experience and we would definitely return to this property if we are in a position to in the future.

Filthy condition throughout (eg human hairs in the bed, excrement on the toilet seat, dirty dishes and cutlery in the sink, etc). General condition of property very poor too with ripped sofa, heating not working in one area, generally bad maintenance, etc. Absolutely disgusting. So bad, we contacted VRBO who were unable to resolve and we checked out within 24 hours. We still paid for whole stay despite cutting our vacation short and having to pay extra to change our ferry back to the mainland. Owner called us a couple of weeks later and acknowledged that the place was not cleaned and did not receive any refund or apology just an attitude. Do not waste your money like we did. We are more than $1,000 out of pocket for a stay we never completed.

We had a great two weeks at The Homestead. The property is large and beautiful and the house is as pictured with a historic feel, key updates for comfort, and a relaxed, unfussy vibe. It was great to be a quick drive or walk to Mansion beach (we found driving to be the thing when taking beach chairs and such, but enjoyed morning and evening walks as well). It was also a short walk to Andy's Way and of course an easy drive to town and such. We enjoyed watching deer visit the edge of the property every evening, lounging by the fire pit, reading a bit about the history of the house, and of course relaxing on the covered front deck. If anyone's wondering, the downstairs pull-out sofa is quite comfortable! There's also an outdoor shower (unenclosed but handy), which we'd wondered about before our arrival. We were quite content so had little need to communicate with Chuck and Emily, but they responded quickly when we did. Thanks to both of you for sharing your home!

We loved staying at the house and the owners were very accommodating, helping us with some unique needs and were great to work with! Very responsive! It is a perfect property, well maintained and with great charm! We enjoyed staying and hope to be able to book it again in the future! It set the stage for a relaxing and fun vacation for our whole family!

We needed a comfortable spot for ourselves, a friend and our one year old Golden Retriever....perfect. Close to our new house (under renovation) and a short walk to a great beach. House had everything that we needed. Comfortable and warm after a long day outside on the job site. We loved it. Great, quintessential BI home.

With everything that was going on,virus,hurricane,power out for a few days ,right before we arrived, it was a blessing. Beautiful area, close to Mansion beach & Andys Way, which both were enjoyed. Had 11 in our group, and nice to sit outside to see the stars in your own big yard. A nice walk to the beach also.

This is a CLASSIC BI home. Oozing in charm and character and exceptionally well suited for our family. The well-stocked kitchen had all the necessary cookware and utensils for dining in, and ample outdoor seating meant that we enjoyed meals al fresco. The yard is HUGE - perfect for cornhole and Wiffle ball with the kids. Hands down the top selling point of this property is the location. Walking distance to mansion beach for sunrise and a quick hop in the car to the North light for sunset. A mile to Andy's way for clamming or a quick hop into town for shopping and dining out. We all agreed that of the 20 years we have been coming to the island this was our favorite property.

We celebrated thanksgiving with our family on Block Island and could not have been more pleased with staying here. There was enough room for us all and it afforded privacy for everyone while keeping us close by. The kitchen was perfectly well stocked including equipment to prepare an entire thanksgiving meal. We had fast access to the beach and all the shops, the grocery store was only 5 minutes away for the last minute items. It really was a perfect place and we look forward to renting it in the future as well.

My family rented this property for my wedding location and place for our family to stay this October and it was absolutely perfect ! The property is beautiful! The owners were super easy to get in touch with! The grass was long when we arrived and within hours they had someone there to get it taken care of before the wedding! Our pups loved running in the huge field and can’t wait to come back !

We’ve stayed at many places on Block Island, but as our family has grown with kids’ spouses and children, things had become very cramped. This location was ideal. We had lots of family time, but also had 3 separate buildings. The little ones could nap in their cottage, while activities continued in the Main house. There were big dining tables both in the main house and on the patio that allowed us to all eat together. And all of this within a short walk to the nicest beach on the island. Our 3 year old had no trouble with it. The main house is old and rich with history, but has some very nice updates. We’ll definitely return.

Homey historical home with lots of space. Our family of seven (5 kids), grandma and my sister's family enjoyed this home where we walked to Mansion beach and rode our bikes to the North Light house and town. Beautiful, private lot close to the beach!

We all loved the location and the set up of the house. It was perfect for our writing group. I think we were the first group of the season and it seemed as if things weren't quite ready yet. That said, they were insignificant really and the hosts were very accessible and willing to fix whatever needed attention. The location was wonderful with beach access near by and Sachem Pond an easy walk away.
