Wonderful Stay
Jody and Stephen's property was fantastic for my group. There is ample space in the home with multiple bedrooms accommodating a large group of guests. The space itself is gorgeous, with close access to the lake, and lots of outdoor seating. Can't say enough positive things about my experience here. Jody and Stephen were very responsive whenever I had any questions, and had very clear check-in and check-out instructions. I would strongly recommend their property.

An awesome time was had by all
This was the perfect spot for our 3 families to enjoy. Location and accommodations were terrific. There were plenty of rooms for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, plenty of gear to enjoy the water and amazing decks to enjoy meals and some relaxation time. We can’t wait to go back.

Perfect Getaway
From the time we arrived until we left Jody and Stephens place felt like home ! There was 16 of us at times and with the house being so big we never noticed ! Jody was only text away if we needed anything or had questions but honestly we were supplied with everything. I can’t really think of anything to complain about great hosts , great house , lots of fun in the water so many memories made . Thanks again !

What a great find for our large family group!
Our family of 16 had a wonderful stay at this fantastic property! The home was immaculately clean, had everything one would need, and had plenty of space for all of us. We also loved all the wonderful nooks and spaces to sit outside both to enjoy or hide from the sun and to enjoy views of the lake! The back patio is heaven with plenty of space for everyone. The Hot Tub was enjoyed by all! We were concerned about the road between the home and the beach especially because we had several very young children with us. We quickly discovered this was not an issue as the back area of the house is easy to keep the young from getting out on their own. The road is not overly busy to be near and we found drivers along the road very respectful! The beach is a bit heavy with rocks but to be fair the water level of the lake was unusually shallow for this time of year so there was more beach to navigate. Additionally, a number of storms will have altered the beach rock substantially. It was not a big issue since the dock was there to use. Beach toys galore and much appreciated! The hosts of this property are very personable, approachable and attentive! We are so very happy to have vacationed at this property!!!

Fantastic water front property!
For a family reunion, 12 people came together at this wonderful home. We all had our own space and it never felt too crowded. Having a hottub and a few kayaks was an extra treat! The hosts were amazing and super accommodating!

Golf Getaway Paradise
This property is a great location for a golf weekend in the Shuswap. The house has lots of rooms and a big kitchen making it perfect for groups. Being right across the street from the lake and having a hot tub was amazing. Jody and Stephen are awesome hosts and made the rental process very simple. This is the second time I've stayed here now and I would definitely recommend it!

Fun vacation
Vacation was great! Was an easy location and close to the water. Tons of space for sleeping and sitting area which was great for the amount of people we had. The property had everything we needed and some. Owners were great to deal with.

Perfect family vacation
Hosts were amazing. They were quick to respond and had everything there we could need. The kids & adults enjoyed all the water toys. Beds were comfortable and fans in every room to make up for not having AC in every room. It was the perfect home for our family trip. We would definitely stay here again! 😊

Great family vacation
The property was very clean and had great outdoor spaces for our large family group! There has been a lot of care taken with this property. It was a very hot week, the various sitting areas were great, we could always find a shady spot to hang out, between the air conditioning and fans provided we were able to stay cool. The lawn was a good spot for badminton, bocce ball etc. The owners were easy to get a hold of, responsive, and very kind. The kitchen was well stocked, and instructions clear. There are many water toys available, our older children spent a lot of time on the water trampoline

Huge House Large Decks
Our family of 10 (adults and toddlers) enjoyed our week for fun in the sun House: - House fit our needs with plenty of space, beds (kings, queens, bunks) and bedrooms. Good beds with lots of linen supplied - House was clean - Large enough table and chairs for all of us to fit around when we chose to eat inside - Basic dry condiments supplied - Well stocked with appliances, dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. (A list of appliances might be nice in the contract as we brought a crock pot and found we didn’t need to as there was one there) - 3 fridges – one on each deck along with the kitchen fridge - Supplied Highchair and Pack N Play - Lots of parking on side and in front - Wi-Fi was strong but better is some parts of the house - Large amount of towels supplied – bring your beach towels for the beach and outside - 3 full bathrooms including a bathtub in one to bath the kids - Portable air conditioners and many fans kept the house cool Decks: - We used the front lower deck during the day. Lots of patio furniture to relax on and still had lots of area for the kids to play including some green area. - When we wanted shade, we used the large back deck. The back deck had ample patio furniture which was perfect for dinners outside and close to kitchen and BBQ. Pretty cool back yard. - The hot tub just off the back deck was enjoyed each evening for a dip before bed. Water Toys: - Great assortment of water toys to use along with a selection of lifejackets. - We used the paddle boards - Water trampoline was a nice bonus Dock/Beach: - We rented a boat that we were able to keep at the dock area - Enjoyed the dock area for sitting in the sun and playing in the water - Unfortunately, we did not have a beach as the lake water level was still high this year - Highly recommend water shoes as the beach/lake is a rocky base Service Road: - Had to cross the service road to get to the water, beach and dock. Was a little busy at times. Host: - Great Host - Quick to respond to all of our questions prior to arriving and was there to meet us and show us around when we arrived - There is a suite on the lower level which the owners do stay in but were not there during our stay Amenities: - Grocery Store/Liquor Store/Gas Station nearby. Very impressed with the grocery/liquor store. Had everything we ever needed including Ice Cream! - Water Slide and Big Box stores in Salmon Arm about 30 minutes away Our family would stay again

Perfect Multi-Generational Vacation
Can we only give it 5 stars? Our three generations of 6 adults and 3 children have just finished a glorious week at Jody and Stephen's immaculate property. Let us start by saying we rebooked for next year. From the time we made the reservation last fall, Jody has responded quickly and warmly to our questions. On our arrival, the genuine welcome and tour made us feel right at home. The house is spacious and the kitchen so well equipped, there is no need to bring anything but your food, beverages, beach towels and clothes. A large washer and dryer, with laundry detergent provided, was very handy with the little ones. Both inside and outside there are numerous sitting areas, so it is easy to find space to gather, as well as have areas for quiet time. The hot tub was pristine and our gang used it often. With the backyard set against a stunning rock wall, the outdoor lighting at night makes the space magical. The front lawn is beautifully landscaped with curving retaining walls and steps. The grassed area is perfect for outdoor games while others can watch from the shade of the gazebo looking onto the lake. Jody and Stephen provide an extensive array of water toys including paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe, a paddle boat, lifejackets in a range of sizes. They also have beach chairs and sand toys. At the lake there is a dock with two Adirondack chairs (.wait till you see the sunsets). The water trampoline was a big hit with our family. The beach is pebbly/rocky and the water unusually high this year. However this didn't affect our enjoyment. everyone was in the lake playing and swimming each day. Bring your water shoes or we wore Teva sandals. As is clearly stated in the listing, there is a road in front of the house. This was not an issue for us, just look both ways before you cross. In summary, we highly recommend a stay. Our best advice is to book early as the summer fills up quickly. Sue and Dave

Amazing place, location and management
We stayed at Jody and Stephen's place in Blind Bay at the end of August 2021. The house was clean, well laid out, and stocked with everything you could possibly need! The kids (and adults) loved the water toys (Pedal boat, Kayaks, water trampoline etc) available for use at the property. Jody and Stephen were awesome and great with communication for anything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and this property to friends and family!

Great location, fully loaded property
Everything was clean and organized. The property is loaded with activities - kayaks, paddleboards, a hot tub, foosball table, cribbage boards, patios everywhere you look with beautiful views. The owners were friendly and responsive. I texted Jody that the knives were too dull to use, and she hand-delivered me new sharp knives within 15 mins. Great service. FYI to the 1% of the population with Celiac Disease who may care - this property mainly has cast iron pans. As my fellow Celiacs know, iron is porous and will cross contaminate food with previous gluten cooked in these pans. There is one big pan and one small pan that may have been Teflon or had some type of coating in the past, but they aren't quite enough to cook large meals for 10-16 people in. Shouldn't be an issue for the other 99% of the population - but if you are concerned maybe check with the owners to see if the cookware has been updated (I imagine it's due to be replaced by 2022 anyways).

Family Reunion, 2 50th Anniversarys celebrated.
Fabulous property for large group. Everyone had space. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. Great laundry facility. Outdoor areas out side the house were outstanding. Hot tub was used and dock area. Water toys were a joy to have in the shed. Beach area rocky not sandy Overall this vacation home was a 10 out of 10

Great family holiday
The house had everything for a pleasant holiday on the lake. Did not have to bring anything. The grandkids especially liked the water toys, bikes, paddle boards and the water trampoline was the biggest hit. Very spacious and easily enough room for three families. The wildfire smoke was not a problem inside because of the abundance of fans and air conditioning units. All in all a great place to stay.

Adult Family Holiday
We had such a fabulous time on the Shuswap! We enjoyed our time out on the water using the kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boat. The three decks had tons of seating and tables for our group and they had amazing views of the lake! There were so many bonuses in the kitchen with double toasters and coffee makers ( two BBQs on the deck) and plenty of all the basics, garbage bags, plastic wrap, tinfoil, laundry soap, etc.. We loved the proximity to a well-stocked and run grocery and liquor store! This property was perfect for our family getaway...great memories made!

shuswap experience
Owners Jody and Stephen are all about guests having the best vacation possible. The property is perfect for families; just know the road that separates the house from the beach is fairly busy, and not suitable for a walk or a bike ride. Outside temps. were in the mid 30s, and while we found the bedrooms warm, extra fans were made available which were much appreciated. Water toys of all kinds added to a memorable holiday! grocery store is close and has everything!

We had an awesome time at the Woodward house. It was amazing having the lake at your doorstep with all the water toys for our use. We had 13 people with a mix of adults and teens and everyone loved the house. Having multiple seating areas allows you to enjoy the outdoor space all day and night. Awesome experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Jody and Stephen were a pleasure to deal with. The house was big enough that the 16 of us never felt like we were on top of each other. We all made use of the many water activities that they had available to use. There is a busy road between the house and the lake but we never had any problems with it. Use caution and you'll be fine. Having two fridges and two bbq's available to us was a big help! 10/10 would recommend :)

A trip to remember!
We had such a great time and our group kept talking about the place for months after our visit. The view is amazing and the house has been absolutely cared for by the owners. The big plus is the access to the boats,kayaks, etc for free where you would rarely find in short term rentals!

Beautiful home in the perfect location
We spent 8 nights at the Woodward house as we were looking at homes in the area. Huge house, perfect lake view, house was spotless and stocked with everything you’ll need. We didn’t take advantage of the many water toys but I would definitely recommend this home for those with large families and children, there’s so much to do! Owners were very accommodating and gave us our space. We would return for a repeat stay.

Thank you so much for the lovely 3 nights stay in your beautiful vacation home. We were very impressed with home. Definitely would not run out of things to do. Had many water toys, board games, foosball table, hot tub, 2 bbqs, etc. Our family had a wonderful time and will have many great memories. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great family vacation
This is a very well-maintained property. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you could ever need. Two big barbecues. Lots of outdoor space for sitting and lounging both in the sun or in the shade. Grand assortment of water toys available. I think the only downside was the road between the house and the waterfront is actually a busy road.

Amazing property
The property was fantastic for our group of 14 and Cheri was great to deal with! The property is very well equipped and large enough for people to hang out and relax without being in each other’s space but if you want to gather as a group it works well for that too!
