The Casita is the perfect place to relax and get away from the city. It sits on our 110 acre ranch with over 4 miles of private hiking and biking trails and a private spring feed creek. Hike to the top of our hill and enjoy a sunset with a glass of wine. Our ranch boasts a variety of wildlife such as deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, foxes, seasonal hummingbirds, butterflies and of course our free range chickens. The patio of the casita is the perfect place to relax on a cool night next to a warm fire in the chiminea. Our property has the best stargazing around. You can hike to the hill or just sit on the porch and gaze up at the stars. Our family has lived on this ranch for over 45 years and love it. Your troubles will melt away and you will be recharged. Our ranch is a Natural Enthusiasts paradise. Come back to the casita and relax under a rainwater shower collected right off the roof.
The casita offers you a handmade queen bed from cedar that was resourced right from the ranch. When building the casita, we repurposed many items such as the original barn door from our barn, the vanity in the bathroom and our recycled glass window. Sculptures from our grandfather’s art studio decorate the porch area.
This property is only 4 miles from downtown Blanco. We are ideally situated between San Antonio, Austin, Wimberley, and Fredericksburg. Beautiful Hill Country drives to wineries, distilleries, lavender farms, antique shops, and Blanco & Pedernales State Parks.
