Charming mountain retreat in the heart of Black Mountain! This spacious one-bedroom suite is perfect for couples or solo adventurers. Located just steps from the Downtown Historic District, you can easily walk to famous shops, restaurants, and breweries. Enjoy a fully-equipped space with fast Wi-Fi and a cozy atmosphere. This queen size bed suite is on the main level of the building.

Black Mountain Lodge has five units, each with a separate entrance. The door for Unit 1 is in the center of the front porch. There are steps that lead up to the porch. Inside this 540 sq ft space you will find a beautiful suite consisting of a combined living and bedroom and featuring a dramatic stone fireplace with a gas heater on the hearth. The room is sunny and bright, and the hardwood floors add a warm feeling to the space. The full kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for preparing all of your meals, including a drip coffee maker. There is also a smart tv you can use to log into your streaming subscriptions, and complimentary WiFi. There is 1 bed for sleeping up to 2 guests. We do not have a sleeper sofa. Due to fire zoning regulations we cannot allow cots or air mattresses on the floor.

This home is over 100 years old and sits among large, old trees. Unfortunately due to this setting, insects will often make their way into the home.

We welcome pets, and if you bring one please be considerate of other groups in the building. Please no dogs that bark if you are away. Dogs must be in a crate if left alone. Keep dogs on a leash at all times.

This is a non smoking, non vaping property. No smoking or vaping allowed inside or outside.

Please note that we do not have a front desk or concierge service. Staying with us will require some “self sufficiency”. You can self check in any time after 4pm and self check out any time before 10am on your day of departure.

We are available during reasonable hours to address any questions or concerns, but please note that we are not a corporation and do not have 24 hour staff.

This is a very old house with gas furnaces for heat and window units for air conditioning. You may hear your neighbors. But we do ask that all guests be respectful of one another.
