Just a few hundred meters from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood, we offer a charming 140m² house that can accommodate up to 5 people, ideal for a week or more with family or friends. The beach is within walking distance, and bike paths allow you to explore our region. The location is perfect for a car-free vacation. You can walk to the market, go to your surf lesson with Andy, or enjoy a coffee on a terrace, all within approximately 500 meters of the house. The house comprises a veranda with a bar area for enjoying cocktails, a living/dining room with a TV and Wi-Fi, and a separate, fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.).
There are three bedrooms, including a master suite (bedding will be renewed in April 2025). A shower room and a separate toilet provide added comfort. You also have a second living room equipped with a TV, a pool table, and a covered terrace to enjoy evenings with family. Outside, a garden surrounds the house, furnished with outdoor furniture for enjoying meals. A dedicated space has also been set up for storing your surfboards and wetsuits. Parking is available in front of the house or within the property.
Regarding surf lessons: Andy has been teaching surfing for 35 years and invites you to experience the thrill of riding the waves safely during personalized private sessions. He will coach you from the house, whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer. Benefit from his expertise, and you will learn about the tides, currents, wave formation, and tides. Understanding these factors is essential for choosing the best surf spot and allows you to discover the ocean while surfing. Surfboards and wetsuits are provided, and you can also rent them for surfing outside of lessons. (Quote upon request)
Regarding the boat rental (photo not contractual): Explore the Arcachon Bay aboard the FOAMSTAND, a 6-meter boat for 5 people with a 115 hp YAMAHA engine. Discover Bird Island with its famous Thanque huts, as well as the tip of Cap Ferret, the Banc d'Arguin sandbar, or the Dune du Pilat, making for an exceptional day.
