"This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield "

"Der var meget lydt på hotellet, så meget at man kunne høre hvad folk skulle på toilet. Ventede på min bøf i 50 min. Da den kom var den total rød inden i. Ventede yderlig 25 min. På maden. Tjenerne ignoreret total en. Dårlig service generelt. Afventede en pakke til hotellet, det kunne de heller ikke finde ud af og give besked om. Kommer der ikke mere, det er helt sikkert. "

"What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks...

"Basic but clean room with a decent shower located in a quiet, safe area. Parking is limited directly on-site but the hotel staff are helpful in pointing you in the right direction to park as close as possible, so it’s not an issue."

"The room was clean and fresh on arrival and in perfect order. We had a good night’s sleep with very little noise around. The receptionists were welcoming, polite and efficient. However, a £5 charge for parking was a surprise. If it is in the small print Hotels.com failed to highlight this extra charge which is disappointing. . "
