We had an evening meal which was superb and Breakfast was great too. Spa area small but nice enough for a relaxing dip in the pool and steam room, sauna and very small gym but enough for me. My only disappointment was that our room was a club room and accessed via a path to an annexe which did not have the same WOW factor...

"The property is on the outskirts of Preston City Centre with easy access off and to the motorway.
The family room was well laid out, comfortable and clean. There was no cooling in the room (Summer) and a medium thick duvet which is not conducive to a great nights sleep but overall, a good stay.the only negative comment.

Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort.

The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "
