A nice place to visit in a tranquil atmosphere.

"Family room was super duper basic. Really reminds me of a Holiday Inn Express. No robes, no slippers in the room either. There were very limited amenities in the wellness changeroom. Staff in the restaurant were not friendly nor welcoming."

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in!
If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident.
Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late."

"Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. "

"A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly.
Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...
