"Very, very disappointed in the cost of what they call a “Buffet Breakfast” 18.95 a person for nothing any better than complimentary breakfast you receive at other hotels. Wet eggs, bacon/sausage , bread for toast, mixed fruit, oatmeal. Why would Mariot charge 19 a person for nothing more than a complimentary breakfast. "

"I contacted the staff because I hadn't received my email to get in the house but he texted it to me and everything was fine he was very apologetic about it the staff is excellent. I didn't go out to the hot tub. The kitchen looked like a great kitchen but I ate out in the area."

"The parking was horrible. They had the back parking lot closed. Yet they continued to assign customers to the rooms back there. So we had to walk with all our belongings to get to our rooms. The room was not very clean. A freaking baby roach walked across the counter as soon as I got in my room. The room had no microwave or refrigerator. They wouldn't change my room because I booked with Expedia. The ice machine was broken all weekend. The lied to me at check in, saying they had ice behind...

"Check in was good and easy, but the shower in our room was a nightmare. The water was either scalding hot or ice cold and the pressure was not much more than a slow drip. The pillows could also have some more fluff, for my preference."

"Filthy stained sheets and a bloodstain on the pillow. The area is awful and we didn't feel safe. The woman at the front desk was lovely and helpful. "

"I really enjoyed my stay—everything about the property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only issue was that the TV in the basement did not work at all. I notified the property owner, but unfortunately nothing was done to resolve it during my stay"

"Gorgeous decor. Fresh and clean. We were provided with plenty of towels and high quality linens. The bed was wonderful and the temperature was very comfortable. Centrally located and very walkable. Caution to anyone who has mobility challenges, the stairs to the second level where the bedrooms are located are steep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend The Jungle House."

"The apt was nice but fail to see where the jungle theme came in. The staircase is not recommended for small children or seniors with mobility difficulties. Everything else was comfortable"

"We had to cancel our second night because an event we were scheduled to attend was canceled. The manager was super nice and said she notified Expedia. Now let's see how long it takes Expedia to reimburse us...."

"There was one elevator running for the whole weekend , no free bikes like advertised, breakfast wasn’t free had to pay for it . The staff was friendly but it wasn’t like other experiences I have had with other hotels . I was a disappointed honestly. Especially for what I was charged . The parking was another issue in its self . Just be sure to pay attention and read stuff and know it’s not like other typical hotels . "
