"The host did not respond to messages before we checked in. At check-in the backdoor to the house was unlocked and opened. When we got into the house, there was rotten and expired food in the fridge, stuff all over the counters, dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher, dirty laundry in the washer and on top, and there was no heat. There were space heaters placed throughout the house, which was a total safety liability. We reached out to the host with our concerns and we never got a response. I...

"We had an amazing stay at your cabin! It was just what we were hoping for. The neighborhood is nicely spread out, giving the kids lots of space to roam and explore. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Communication with the host was excellent, and we really appreciated the guest passes to the sports center. We’d love to return again soon!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg."

Not only does the house have amazing Potomac River water views, the house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything you need to enjoy a vacation. While it’s off the beaten path, it’s just a short drive to restaurants, historical sites and more. We had a great stay!"
