Arrive via a one-of-a-kind bridge driveway to find soaring ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a bear-themed game room packed with a pool table, dartboard, and bar. Soak in the private hot tub, then gather around the log dining table for a meal from the fully equipped kitchen. This is the Big Bear lodge groups come back to.

Spread across two levels, Gold Rush Lodge comfortably sleeps 16 across 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in 4,500 sq ft of luxury mountain living. Soaring vaulted ceilings, rich log walls, and a grand stone fireplace set the tone the moment you walk in — this is no ordinary cabin.

A chef's dream for large groups. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, generous counter space, and everything you need to cook and entertain — from holiday feasts to morning coffee runs. No need to eat out unless you want to.

The showstopper. A beautifully decorated bear-themed bar anchors a dedicated game room complete with a pool table, dartboard, and ping pong table. Whether it's a rainy afternoon or a late night after dinner, there's never a dull moment at Gold Rush Lodge.

Please note the house does not have A/C upstairs, only downstairs. It is usually not hot enough to be needed but we provide fans in case it gets a little warm.

Big Bear has some very important rules for all short term rentals. You will must follow these rules or your stay will be canceled without refund:

1.) Do not exceed the stated occupancy limit: the occupancy is (16) adults for The Gold Rush Lodge
2.) No parking on the street or yard and a maximum of (5) vehicles
3.) No amplified music 24/7
4.) Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00pm-7:00am.
5.) No pets allowed

*No Parties! If you have more than the number of guests in your booking your stay will be cancelled immediately. The city takes this very seriously.

Please note: Big Bear is located in the mountains, where conditions can sometimes be unpredictable. While power or Wi-Fi outages are uncommon, they can occasionally affect the entire area due to weather or other natural factors. We always do our best to support our guests, but some situations are outside our control.

Since we must follow our cancellation policy and are unable to provide refunds for natural disasters or related disruptions, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This will give you peace of mind in the event of wildfires, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and want your trip to be as worry-free as possible.
