The beach access is awesome. The cabin keeps the rain off, and has 1 comfy bed and 1 old as dirt fold-out bed. It's fairly evenly distanced from both Beulah and Frankfort, which we saw as a positive.
The bathroom is teeny, in all aspects of the word. The shower head is at ~5ft3in high, so anyone taller than that will need to bend or squat to rinse off. If you sit on the toilet, your knees will likely hit the wall in front of you. If you pee standing up, you'll likely need to turn sideways in front of the sink.
The screen door in front pops out of its frame easily, and the screen door in back pops out of the track does not seal well at all, so prepare for mosquitoes.
Since our visit in 2019, the couch has been replaced, but not the fold-out bed within. The screens have been replaced or patched, but the screen door problems are worse. I don't remember the "fire pit", or actually, the bowl in the beach with a ring of rocks.
