"Lovely menu - particularly loved the Goat curry and my son wolfed down the ribs. Friendly staff. Only gripe would be that the showers were mounted way too low. I could only wash my hair by kneeling in the bath."

"Great communication from the owners😊, and we would definitely stay here again, some of the fixtures were a little tired but that didn’t bother us, the room was great, the shower probably one of the most powerful we ever had definitely beats some of the big hotels that we have stayed in. And the breakfast was lovely, the homemade bread was delicious.the bed was very comfy, Everything about this stay was everything we needed. Excellent value for money"

"This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...

"Great location for what we wanted to do. Amy and James were very helpful and friendly and communication before and during the stay was great (why can’t more places use What’s App?!). Breakfast included cereal and juice and coffee if one wanted and a full cooked breakfast that was wonderful. I really appreciated the gluten free bread.
