Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Comfortable townhouse with one exception

This townhouse was in a great location, comfortable and well appointed but could use some updating. Unfortunately, the real issue was a non-working washing machine. Vacasa, the rental agent, seemed to be aware of this problem prior to our visit, we were told a part was on order, but they neglected to inform us before we arrived. Had we known, we would have packed differently with extra clothing and towels. Requests for sufficient towels for six people took three days to receive. Throughout the week, since phone calls to Vacasa were rarely returned, visits to the office were necessary. This lack of communication on Vacasa's part is a concern for this property. That said, our family totally enjoyed this property and the amenities of Sea Colony.

Singles Court Stay

The house is very nice! The location, number of bedrooms and many of the furnishing are wonderful. Two of the bathroom have been beautifully updated. The decking is a composite material which was wonderful with small children...we didn't have to worry about splinters. The deck furniture is new and beautiful. There were bathroom and window fixtures falling out. My complaint would be with the management company, Vacasa. The house was not thoroughly cleaned. Some sheets were not fresh and there were nail clippings in one bed and spots and stains on others. Plus the sheets are very low quality and there were no mattress pads. There was dust and debris under all the beds and bathroom vanities. The toilets were not clean. The kitchen floor had crumbs and spills and was definitely not washed. There was sand and debris in the couches. I cleaned the entire house and changed all the beds before we moved in. Vacasa texted to check the cleanliness and I sent them pictures of everything. When we returned from the beach the next day we found a cleaning woman in the house with no notice. Why? When I went to the Vacasa office to speak to them they gave me robotic responses and asked if I "want to speak to someone about it". I thought I was. I would definitely stay here again but with a better management company.

Nice location and large for Sea Colony

We enjoyed our stay here but I would not rent it again. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have an extra room downstairs. The location to the beach and marketplace are great too! Outside the deck is dangerous to walk on and really needs to be fixed, especially if you have kids in your party. The outdoor furniture is also bad and not everyone could sit around the small awkward table. Inside the couches were really dirty and uncomfortable! So no one really wanted to hang out in the living room or the outdoor seating area. The place was also filthy when we arrived, food wrappers left on the floor, old food in the fridge, bathrooms with toothpaste in the sinks, etc. It was very unfortunate. The AC upstairs didn't work very well so it was hot at night. Ceiling fans could alleviate this problem easily. With a little updates to furniture and ammenities and with paying attention to cleanliness this place could be great!
