Welcome to our Airbnb dream!

After years of hosting, we finally built the house we always dreamed we could offer – and what we believe is the epitome of Bergen Airbnb experiences. No expenses were spared: five bedrooms, a kitchen out of a movie scene, private patio with BBQ, exclusive interior design, and best of all – your own cinema and indoor playground. All set in one of Bergen’s most authentic, cobblestoned neighborhoods just a few steps behind Bryggen. We can’t wait to share it with you.

This is more than just a place to stay – it’s a house you’ll never want to leave.

Originally built in 1899, the townhouse sits in one of Bergen’s oldest and most charming neighborhoods, known for its cobblestone streets, wooden houses, and postcard-worthy atmosphere. In 2025, we completed a full transformation: the entire interior was torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. Everything inside is brand new – but the soul of the house and its history remain.

Today, the home spans 126 square meters across four floors. As a traditional Bergen townhouse, it is extremely charming, with steep staircases
and character in every corner. The house features five bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a private patio with BBQ, and generous common areas. Every element has been thoughtfully selected – from custom-crafted interiors to high-end furnishings and warm, inviting lighting. The style is a unique blend of Scandinavian simplicity with touches of English countryside charm.

Downstairs, you enter another world: a private cinema and an indoor playground that truly set this home apart. It’s perfect for families – or simply for cozy nights in with popcorn and Netflix. It’s the kind of place you want to take home with you.

Possibly best of all? The house is tucked away in one of Bergen’s most authentic and picturesque neighborhoods. With cobblestone alleys, historic wooden homes, and local cafés just around the corner, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook – all while being only steps away from Bryggen, the Fløibanen funicular, and the very heart of the city.

Søndre Kleivesmauet is a quiet, car-free lane, yet just a short walk from the city center and Bryggen.

Just minutes away you’ll find popular hiking trails like Stoltzekleiven and Mount Fløyen – perfect for a morning workout or a sunset walk with breathtaking views.
