"Two night stay. The staff were attentive and helpful. Location is right on the quayside. Venue has some free parking, it might be a problem at busy rimes, but was not for us. We tried the upstairs restaurant and the fish and chip takeaway, we agree the food is a very high standard."

"Great reception nothing was too much trouble. Parked the car and able to walk easily round town and beaches.
Rooms cleaned daily, and for a change real coffee in the room. Microwave if required. We’ll be back next year all being well. "

"Fantastic, greeted with milk in the fridge and fresh eggs, Lovely host who was so freindly, full of local knowledge and advice on things to do. The cottage absolutely beautiful with log fire (although we didnt use it as the place was so toasty and warm). Quality throughout, everything you could need for a holiday, shops 10 minutes away by car, lovely countryside with loads to do, easy drive to Scarborough, Filey and York. Comfy bed, washing machine in utility room with library of DVD's and...

"First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road.
