Great location and beautiful views looking out from this condo at Shanty Creek! Pleasantly surprised at the sizeable bedrooms. Both rooms comfortably fit two queen beds. The beds were also comfortable which allowed for a restful night! My kids enjoyed the chest of games. We had trouble connecting to the server when trying to login to our Hulu account on the TV. Dale, the owner, was very responsive and came out to the condo to do a reset with the equipment. He was able to get us up and running quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

I didn't want to give this place 5 stars, not because it doesn't deserve it, it definitely does, because if to many people know what kind of gem this place is it will get harder to reserve. The place is beautiful with an amazing view. The condo was well stocked with games and basic needs. I was definitely happy with how well the kitchen was stocked basic needs. We were able to watch the fireworks from Shanty Creek from the firepit off the back porch, Our host Dale was easy to work with and messaged me back when we had questions, We will definitely stay here again, The only issue we had was as it got closer to the holiday weekend, we had a hard time parking and had to park at the hotel which is a 2 minute walk. Not the host fault that people can't park correctly. Multiple vehicles taking up more than one spot. This may become a yearly trip to this dream location.

Cozy and well-managed

The owners must have a background in hospitality - everything was well thought out. They were proactive with communication and checking in was very easy. The unit is cozy and nicely decorated. It’s a short drive to skiing and the pool access was nice when the weather wasn’t.

Shanty Creek resort

The condo was nice. I liked the backyard view sitting on back deck. The condo was located close to Bellare, Charlevoix, and not far from Traverse City. We visited all 3 places good time.
