"This hotel is a wannabe woke/boutique rock'n roll hotel with VERY loud music in the common areas - I really don't like LOUD music for my 7 o'clock breakfast. I only had breakfast in their restaurant - I don´t know if they serve other meals there. The price for the breakfast was on the high end - CAD 13 - 17. And they don't know how to cook omelets: Very dry."

"I had a grand 3 night stay at The Duckworth in July 2025. I was very grateful for the staff taking my luggage off my hands before I could check in and also texting me when my room was ready. As I was very much in need of a shower and rest that heads up was much appreciated. The location is fantastic - walkable easily to all parts of downtown with lots of restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions in East walking distance. "Vi fik et værelse på 3 etage. Værelset var stort men mørkt, skrå vægge og søjler i midten af værelset. Der var meget lydt fra omkringliggende værelser. Personalet var søde, parkeringen god og morgenmaden middel."

"It was private, quaint and great location. Easy walk to city life but uphill after that lol ! Quick drive Quidi Vidi and Torbay coves ! We had our own back yard and our 5 year old and wife loved it.. you don’t see much from the back yard but it’s nice! "
