Blacksmith Lodge is wonderfully located within Big White for access to Happy Valley and Village. Property is well managed and provides quick response to any questions.

Family ski holiday

This is our second stay at Blacksmith Lodge. We enjoyed it so much we came back again in a different unit. The location on the mountain is perfect for easy access to everything and each time the units have been great with lots of room and the hot tub was wonderful after skiing.

Great layout for a family. Dog friendly

This condo is in an ideal location for ski in and out. The bedrooms are spread between the three floors so good separation for adults. The hot tub is lovely and nice and hot. The kitchen has everything you will need. The fireplace did not produce heat for us but had red glowing embers.

The hot tub and the wilderness style decor.plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a big family. It lacked a few things needed to make your stay even better like salt and pepper. Stove top is the most ridiculous thing 6 adults and we all had troubles with it lol. The condo is cold downstairs and hot in bedrooms upstairs. Other than those things it was nice and relaxing trip.

Great location

Ski in/out was fantastic. Great kitchen, supplies are limited but the knives were sharp. We found it spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and the dogs loved it too. It was easy to take a ski break in the middle of the day. Great spot to watch the fireworks.

This was a perfect condo for us. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order but management quickly compensated us.

Great location and lovely home

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was good for access to the village and lifts. The place felt homey and welcoming and all the supplies were included - games, sleds, towels, etc. Small issues - upstairs TV had no volume and the dishwasher was filled with smelly, moldy dishes when we arrived. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Spacious ski in/ski out condo with view of valley

The condo is clean and spacious. You can ski right to the high speed quads. The view of the valley on a clear day is awesome. Short hike or gondola ride available to main village.

Great location, the ski-in ski-out was fantastic. The townhouse itself was beautiful. The only unfortunate thing was our hot tub was not clean upon arriving. Someone came to replace some things and try to get it clean, however it wasn’t clean for the entirety of our stay.

Great Experience in Blacksmith Lodge #7

We traveled with two families of 4 and this unit worked really well for us. There was plenty of space for the kids in the bunk room and it was nice for them to have another area to hang and watch TV when they wanted. The two master bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable and it was nice that they both had ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen was a great size and very well equipped with cookware, dishes, and even things like plastic wrap and paper towels. Loved having the garage for keeping skis and boots warm and dry. All in all, it was a very positive experience! The only slight con for us was the ski in/ski out access. It's a bit more work to get to the gondola than some of the other units we've had in the past. You have to hike with skis for a stretch and then across 2 roads and up a short (but steep) hill to get to the path to the gondola. Coming home is a bit easier, but you can't actually ski to/from the front door in either direction. We admittedly have been spoiled with the actual ski in/out in our other previous locations, so overall this unit is still very well situated to the gondola, slopes, Happy Valley, and main village. Lastly, this is a townhouse layout with 3 sets of stairs inside and also stairs leading up to the front door. This was not an issue for us, but heads up to others if navigating stairs is a problem.

Great proximity to the village an easy walk with kids to the kid centre .

We went to Big White in June for the bike race with two small kids . It was an easy walk to the village . The unit was a good size bedrooms are beautiful . We could have used some more pots pans and cooking utensils in the kitchen . Thanks for our stay 😊
