Le Beaulieu Chalet

Welcome to our chalet located in the heart of Auvergne, at the crossroads of Cantal, Puy-de-Dôme and Corrèze. Nestled in the middle of pine trees, in a wooded environment, it overlooks the lake of Bort-les-Orgues offering a perched cabin atmosphere with an unobstructed view of the surrounding nature.
On the intimate green plot, you can enjoy a relaxation area with deckchairs, a summer lounge with barbecue for moments of conviviality in the open air.

A large terrace accessible from the garden and the living room completes the outdoor spaces. Facing west, it offers a view of the wooded hills of the lake, which can be seen, and fabulous sunsets.


Upon entering the chalet, you will discover an open plan living area with a living room equipped with a stove, a smart TV, a selection of books and board games for cosy evenings with family or friends. A dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, and small appliances. A large bay window gives access to the terrace and allows you to enjoy the outside view from the living room.

On the half level you will find a first bedroom with a queen size bed (160/200) which has a balcony overlooking the garden, a bathroom with shower and corner bathtub and a separate toilet for more privacy.
Upstairs is a second bedroom, typical chalet with a high sloping ceiling, which has a bunk bed for two children (90/190 x 2, top bed 40kg max). A third bedroom, landing, offers a double bed bed and a desk for a workspace away from the living room.


From the outside, you will access the laundry room with washing machine and dryer as well as a freezer to complete the large fridge in the kitchen.

In order to make your stay pleasant and that you quickly feel at home, we make sure that you have a full range of kitchen utensils and provide you with the essentials of everyday life for your first few days with a selection of welcome products, including food, hygiene and health items.

The immediate surroundings of the chalet offer lovely walks in the bocage landscapes of Beaulieu. You can walk to the ruins of the castle of Thynières and its exceptional view of the lake, the beach of Beaulieu to swim or enjoy water sports, the village square with its inn and its bowling greens.

In a radius of barely 15 minutes by car, you will have most of the local shops in Lanobre (neighboring village less than 10 minutes away), the town of Bort-les-Orgues, the beach of Siauve, the castle of Val, its beach and its nautical base. Note that the lake, 21 km long, offers many opportunities for exploration and water recreation.

By expanding your perimeter you can enjoy the incredible variety of Auvergne landscapes: the Monts Dore, Clermont-Ferrand, the Puy chain and Vulcania, an hour to the north and the Monts du Cantal, Salers and Aurillac to the south. Not to mention paragliding spots just 15 minutes away and the take-off from the Puy de Dôme for a discovery baptism or more if the conditions allow it.
