"The home was spacious, bright with huge windows, and super comfortable. There's a big couch to spread out on, a well-maintained hot tub in the back, a gorgeous pond right next to the home, and the king bed was a great escape from our smaller bed in the city. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, but bring your own spices if you want them! Overall it was a wonderful trip. We did find the wifi spotty and slow, but if you're up here to enjoy the outdoors and company, this is a great choice. "

"This place was absolutley perfect for our stay. Waterview from almost every window in the house. Beautiful giant bedroom windows overlooking the lake to wake up to in the morning. Full kitchen, no reason to leave! It is beautifully decorated. Easy communication with our host and very easy check in and out. Perfect balance of indoor and outdoor comfort. We are already looking forward to returning. "

Our host Brent provided me and my family an incredibly peaceful and serene pre Christmas/Christmas celebration. Fire pit, sleigh riding, hiking and ample and comfortable bedrooms capable of sleeping 8 ! I want to thank VRBO and Brent and will assuredly be returning either next Christmas, or for summer...

"The home was very clean and inviting. The only trouble we had was the difficulty in parking along the house to unload groceries and luggage at the kitchen door and exiting our truck was very tight. Would suggest removing bushes that line the driveway. "

"The host was very courteous and let me know everytime she would be unavailable, if she was unavailable she still had someone able to be reached for any issues. The house was nice and the process was very easy for checking in and out, there is a lot of open space and room for activities. Not a lot of places to visit around the house but the house is for sure the highlight if you are wanting to make the trip to Monticello. Nice house for groups and events."

"I highly recommend this place for a great getaway. It was cleaner than every high end hotel that I’ve stayed at this year. Absolutely the nicest and cleanest hot tub I’ve ever been in. The stream was a lot of fun to have in the back yard. The host was very kind, and quick to respond with any questions. Next time I go, I’d like to stay longer."
