"Look no further.I wanted to take my wife for a surprise trip to someplace special (for a ‘big’ birthday number) and decided on the Pagosa Springs area. Looked at numerous places and then found Samuels Hideaway; it was absolutely perfect for us. It felt like our home.Huge deck facing the San Juan mountains upon which we enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails. "Nice location. Got to see turkeys and deer. House was very nice and use of garage was a big bonus. Only complaint was the smaller bathroom upstairs. My friends said they almost slipped in the bath tub. Not a game changer though. Parking decent for two trucks with UTV trailers. Drove UTVs to Lake Vallecito and rode a trail that was off of the 501A. Would stay there again."

"The location was great. The cabin was perfect for us and our adult children, with 3 beds and 3 baths and a nice, well equipped kitchen. The setting was beautiful and we enjoyed the big front porch. "
