Bayfield Fruit Loop Retreat - Rock Garden Cottage in the woods

Welcome to the Fruit Loop Retreat, featuring a beautiful "Rock Garden Cottage" a newly remodeled cottage one of two cottages on property nestled in 7 acres of woods in Bayfield, WI. The property allows you to savor a peaceful and quiet northwoods experience but still minutes from several attractions and historic downtown Bayfield.

The property is conveniently located just 5 minutes' drive or 2.5 miles from the center of downtown Bayfield. Located right on county Hwy J, a starting point for a self-guided tour around the city of Bayfield where an exploration of several family apple orchards, fruit farms, and wineries.

Enjoy exploring Northern Wisconsin Lake Superior South Shore with various hiking trails throughout the year, mountain biking in the summer snowshoe or fat bikes/cross country skiing in the winter, public beaches and state parks minutes away. Take the Bayfield Ferry to Madeline Island, see the Apostle Islands sea caves through kayaking or guided site seeing cruises (seasonal) there is so much to explore!

Our cozy Rock Garden Cottage features a main level 2 queen bedroom, upper-level (*must be able to use stairs to access) is an open concept living kitchen layout with futon for extra sleeping, electric fireplace, and bathroom with spacious Italian marble walk in shower, and views out the large windows of the woods. The cottage has large outdoor rockgarden landscape feature with adironndack chairs surrounding a firepit as well as picnic table and grill to enjoy the outdoor space. Enjoy a fire with provided wood perfect to relax and unwind after a day exploring Bayfield (outdoor features are seasonal May-October) Starlink fast internet w/Netflix included, fully stocked kitchen (NO OVEN in this rental), complimentary bathroom toiletries.

+ Winter season (Nov-April) we highly suggest a awd/4wd vehicle due to the snow packed /incline of the driveway

**Please note that when renting our Rock Garden Cottage there is another cottage on the property 100'ft across the driveway. There may or may not be other guests staying in the other cottage at the same time of your stay. Some trees give separation. Only front entrance and one window in the cottage faces the other cottage with blinds/curtains provided in the main level bedroom. We have property boundaries as well as quiet hours implemented in our house rules.**

This property has 2 security cameras to ensure the safety of the guests, neighbors, and the home. +One on the shed overlooking the driveway +One In the garage overlooking the supplies shelf (guests are not allowed in the garage)
