"Very clean. Easy to get to. Listing as described. Bed and furniture are nice and comfy. Only thing I would add is a broom and dust pain and some Clorox wipes so guest can keep it neat. 5 stars! Very nice host. "

"Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. The room was not clean and there were used condoms hanging from a lamp in the room. The staff was notified and they were also mortified. They gave me another room with ripped carpeting, but at least it was clean. I would not stay at this chain ever again. I hate to write a negative review, but thought warming others was that important."

"It was fine. Honestly, this hotel was WAY overpriced. Pretty much on par with any Quality Inn or La Quinta type of hotel, but they charge 4-star hotel prices. The room was very basic. "We booked in a non-smoking room at a hotel we anticipated being on the low end of tolerable, but was a less expensive option than others in the area (were there for a sport tournament) due to the US Open and other Summer happenings on Long Island. We were booked in a smoking room and I immediately called the Red Roof Inn to change to a non-smoking room. "Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

"Coming from out of town I had no idea what to expect. It was probably one of the most outdated and least maintained hotels I have ever experienced. Trash all over the exterior, no hot water in our room, no daily cleaning service. The rooms have not been updated in about 20 years. The room next to us had the window open to the exterior and all I could see was mold and the ceiling completely torn apart. I highly recommend not staying here."

"Weird people around, yelling at service staff during breakfast, it feel uncomfortable. Moreover, we forgot something of some value in the room and we called as soon as we noticed: They said they didn't find anything. Qe understand it's our responsibility if we forget something, but the dishonesty is appalling. Very sad."

"I loved staying in the hotel, I had one of the suites, so I had a private bathroom and a big room. The hotel is small, the staff outmost friendly and helpful - feels almost like staying with family. The concept is 'low key', so eg no TV in my room, which I think is a big advantage. "Stayed here 5nights while visiting family living nearby. Good size king room, very clean and fantastic staff. The ladies who run the breakfast buffet are great! Housekeeping is awesome. On site laundry on 3rd floor is handy and area was also clean. It’s run remotely by an app you can download to your smartphone. We’d definitely stay here again."
