A very nice hotel with standard above medium at a fair price - I would definitely choose this hotel again if going to Manchester another time. It has a nice distance to shopping streets and restaurants.
Only complaint would be the tea at the breakfast - it tasted like coffee :-)"

The hotel is located in a perfect spot - the area is not too crowded, day to day shopping nearby & central Manchester is within walking distance. "A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. However in the room the floor was not washed at there was an old puddle of some pop on the floor. There was was some marks on the pillow but this looked more like wear and tear. It did not bother us enough to contact the staff. The bathroom was large and spacious which was nice and good quality soaps "

"Did not know it was an "adult only" hotel with a very LBGT+ profile, from booking it. It became a small challenge as I was traveling with my 12 year old son.
The receptionist shouted out that she was not allowed to let children under 18 stay and it all felt a bit akward.. Anyway the manager let us stay in a nice room away from all the noise and fuzz and we actually enjoyed the big diversity from classical luxury hotels, and will never forget our first trip to Manchester."

The room is a great layout and the beds are so comfortable, we slept so well.
Despite being in the heart of the city centre with really busy nightlife going on outside the soundproofing blocks all of the noise out.
The location is very central, so for us that meant we had a great choice of pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes in all directions.
Breakfast was excellent too, great choice of hot and cold foods."

Ca. 40 minutters gang fra Old trafford hvor man kan gå langs kanalen der ligger lige op ad hotellet.

"Staying at The Alan was such a delight! I arrived late, but Komal at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. She even upgraded my room. Perfect beginning for my stay. Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Room was spacious, had super cool decor and all in all everything was very positive. Big regards to James Sullivan and his whole team as well. Will defintely return, and I highly recommend staying at The Alan :)"

Nemt at gå til Manchester City fodboldkamp.
Dejlig morgenmad hvor er det der er behov for.

"Hotel is new and modern. Location is perfect, can easily walk into central. Also great public transport options, even though we used Uber. There’s a Costa and Sainsbury’s across the road if you need to grab some morning coffee or basics.
Staff at hotel were welcoming and super helpful.
The hotel room was nice clean and modern. Housekeeping came everyday and always gave us extra towels.
The bed was comfy - but not the pillows.
Downsides :
- room was a bit cramped, not much floor space for luggage etc.
- Lighting in both bathroom and room was not the best esp as we were 2 women who like good lighting for doing our makeup.
- The bathroom also felt cramped, the flush on the toilet was positioned awkwardly and had to press a specific forceful way to flush. No air vents in bathroom.
- In the room there is only one full length but not wide window, so natural light isn’t much.
- The curtain didn’t fully close to the end so if you are someone who needs full darkness to sleep in then I would double check as my room mate did not sleep much due to the light coming in.
- No water bottles were provided in the room. We went and purchased our own. If you are not a local to Manchester, be aware of the different taste and smell of tap water in the whole city, hence why we purchased our own.
Other than these I would say the hotel is nice and worth the money if the above downsides are something that you can live with. I probably would book this hotel again if I was coming for 1 night "

"Virkelig meget komfort med central belliggenhed i forhold til pris. Lidt gammelt og slidt værelse, men man kan på ingen måde forvente mere i den prisklasse og her var rent. Gulvet knirkede meget, men sådan er det selvfølgelig i et gammelt hus."
